Hot Stuff!
This was for the Etsy Inspired Challenge #51 with the featured shop of Red Crow Arts. I chose the red peppers for my inspiration.
I used the new Artful INKables set South Of The Border and made a sun out of the peppers in red, yellow, and orange. I stamped most of them, alternating the coloring in red and yellow. The orange ones were all cut out individually and layered over the first ones. Scallop circle die cut from the Big Shot.
B is for Bear
This is my card for today's Inspiration challenge at SCS taken from the Creative Wallcoverings website. Monogram B in Bashful Blue, bear from Under The Stars, bunny from Forest Friends, balloon from Sock Monkey, bee from Just Buzzin' By.

Easy Witch Hat
Cut a triangle and then place on fold of a piece of tracing paper to make your template. My pattern makes two hats for a piece of cardstock but you could size it however you like. I used the new Versamark Champagne Dazzle and embossed with clear powder the haunted house and spider web. I added two Green Galore buttons with some googly eyes for embellishment. For the inside I cut a slightly smaller triangle from Green Galore.

Clue card
There is a fun challenge going on at SCS by Mothermark based on the old board game Clue. I still have my original Clue game so I used that to display my multiple challenge card featuring Miss Scarlet (Artful INKables Think Big set) with today's color combination of Kraft, Real Red, and Chocolate and our DDC challenge this week hosted by Joan Ervin to use a pretty or glamorous girl on our card. My final accusation is Miss Scarlet in the Library with a rope :)

Always
For today's Etsy inspired challenge, I used the Always set and matching wheel.
The top picture is from the Etsy shop Mrs. Kwitty's
Charming
I love the color combination of red, black, and white. It is one of my very favorites. I embossed the white cardstock with the Finial Press texture plate, edged with eyelet border punch. Matted with Basic Black and then on Real Red. I stamped the bottom in red with the flower image and added the sentiment Inspire from the words stamp (colored that one word with black marker and stamped). The sentiment was stamped twice in Going Gray and the flower image with Real Red and Old Olive. White satin ribbon and Pretties Kit half pearl to embellish.

Under The Stars
Today on SCS the challenge was to use something fuzzy. This reminded me of the little poem my Mom used to recite to us when we were kids:
Fuzzy Wuzzy was a bear
Fuzzy Wuzzy had no hair
Fuzzy Wuzzy wasn't fuzzy, was he?
I used the new Autumn Meadows paper, Under The Stars stamp set colored in markers with Teddy Bear Tan Fun Flock for bear's fuzz, Naturals buttons and hemp twine.

New SU- Autumn Meadows paper, Charming stamp set
This new Autumn Meadows designer series paper will be available in the upcoming SU Holiday Mini. It was a perfect choice for today's SCS color challenge of Very Vanilla, Close To Cocoa, and Taken With Teal. I stamped the words in stamped off Tempting Turquoise and the floral image with Cocoa and Bermuda Bay markers. The large scallop circle was the Sizzix Scallop Circle #2 die and the bottom with the sentiment is the scallop oval punch. Kraft taffeta tibbon to embellish.

SU Sneak Peek- Charming
This set seems like it was made to go with the Bella Bleu designer paper. I used some of that with Bordering Blue, Not Quite Navy and Very Vanilla. I used the new Lattice die for the Big Shot and layered them to give it a little dimension. The main image was inked in sahara Sand and I markered the flowers in Not Quite Navy. I'm thinking of using this for one of my swaps for this set. What do you think?

Over The Rainbow
Pac Man
Today is my son Billy's 12th birthday! This is a hard age for making cards but he loves his video games and he really loved this card today. I used all Stampin' Up supplies, Basic Black, Brilliant Blue and Whisper White cardstocks. I embossed the retired Lots Of Dots jumbo wheel in white and stamped the sentiment from It's Your Birthday using Bold Brights markers. The Pac Man was the 1 3/8" circle punch and the ghosties were made with the key tag punch. I was inspired by the totally adorable card by Shelbell on SCS.

Fan Fold Flower
I followed the tutorial for the Fan Fold on Splitcoast and made a little variation. For the bottom layer of the flower I punched a scallop circle and cut down the length of each scallop to the center and fluffed out some of the "petals". Backpack
I used SU textured cardstock Basic Gray for backpack body and Basic Grey June Bug paper for plaid. I had a red plaid metal lunchbox similar to this when I was little so this designer paper was a lot of fun for me. The template for this can be found on SCS. Silver eyelets, black Vintage brads, and 1/4" black grosgrain ribbon also used.
Orcas Island
Back from a very relaxing vacation on Orcas Island. We did see some Orca whales on the ferry ride over. They are such fun and fabulous creatures, a sight to behold. This picture is the view we had from our cottage on the island. We did some hiking and biking and quite a bit of just relaxing in the hot tub. It's good to be back though!
Embossed Greenhouse Garden
I love the flowers in this set. I stamped the larger one in Regal Rose and Melon Mambo, daisy in So Saffron and More Mustard, small one in Lavender Lace and Lovely Lilac on Whisper White cardstock, layered with Melon Mambo. I then ran it through the Big Shot with the Finial Press embossing folder. The sentiment is from the Bloomin' Beautiful set and I finished it off with some white satin ribbon and some Pretties kit pearls and beads tied on with linen thread. I had made another one just like this and sent it in to SU, hope they like it!

Itty Bitty Buds Wreath
This is a hostess set from last year's SU catalog that I am finally getting a chance to try. I love it, it's a keeper!!
I started with a Soft Suede scallop circle cardbase that was cut from the Big Shot. Next I cut a circle just to fit inside the scallop in Whisper White. I stamped the sentiment from All Holidays in Old Olive. Starting with the Little Leaves Sizzlits die in Celery, I sponged the edges of the leaves and laid them out around the circle. I stamped, colored, and cut out all of the Itty Bitty Buds flowers and sponged all of the edges of the petals. This really makes the color stand out, I think. Arranges around wreath atop leaves.

Popcorn Sleeve with Voila Chef
This was for VSN challenge this weekend at Splicoast to use a popcorn theme in some way. The Whisper White part of the sleeve is 6"x11" and was scored at 3" and 7 1/4". I added an eyelet border punch in Barely Banana. For the "popcorn" stamp I used the smoke puff from Choo Choo, for the popcorn in the bowl I used dabs of glue and added yellow Fun Flock. The chef was paper pieced with Razzleberry Lemonade paper and sentiment is from Oval All. To open you just untie the ribbon and slide out microwave popcorn package.

On A Pedestal
I used Black Cherry jello with my clear embossing powder on the chocolate part of the cake for the scratch and sniff part and I sprinkled in some pink sugar crystals into the Liquid Applique before heating up. I smudged the candle so I ended up having to add some speckles and dots to the main image to cover up my booboo so I didn't have to start over. I used the sketch from this week with Tea Party and Bella Blossoms? paper atop Pretty In Pink card base.

This is for my sister's birthday, and apron gift card holder, the card or money slips into the front pocket. This was inspired by today's SCS Inspiration challenge with the apron shown in picture. This is a super simple design, I got the pattern from Mirkwood Designs. Supplies used were Basic Grey Porcelain paper, Whisper White cardstock and the eyelet border punch, white eyelets, and taffeta ribbon. Pierced all around edges.
