On A Pedestal
I used Black Cherry jello with my clear embossing powder on the chocolate part of the cake for the scratch and sniff part and I sprinkled in some pink sugar crystals into the Liquid Applique before heating up. I smudged the candle so I ended up having to add some speckles and dots to the main image to cover up my booboo so I didn't have to start over. I used the sketch from this week with Tea Party and Bella Blossoms? paper atop Pretty In Pink card base.

On A Pedestal

This is one of the fun, new birthday sets from Stampin' Up. I stamped the pedestal in Melon Mambo, used Soft Suede and Pretty in Pink markers for the cake. Bordered in Razzleberry Lemonade paper edged with Eyelet Border punch. The left side has a strip of Terrifically Tacky Tape covered in white Chunky Sprinkles and Dazzling Diamonds, the other side is a Cuttlebug border embossing folder and I added mini pearls. Pink taffeta ribbon and dots all around edges to complete.

Sneak Peek On A Pedestal

This is a Stampin' Up sneak peek available July 1 called On A Pedestal. It is really a cake set but I used the cake upside down on top of the bottom portion of the pedestal to make a drink and added some cherries. I made the main oval image into a shaker card that was filled with clear microbeads that reminded me of sugar. I ran Whisper White cardstock through the Big Shot using the Harlequin texture plate. I also used Melon Mambo and Tangerine Tango cardstocks and inks. The flower brads in the corners were accented with a white gel pen center.

Stampin' Up Sneak Peek

This set will be available in the upcoming catalog and is called On A Pedestal. I double embossed the hand stamped background using a positive and negative impression of the polka dots embossing plates. The cherry from the set was stamped in red and I used the little puffy cloud from the Occasions mini train set in pink to create the background on Whisper White cardstock.
1 1/4" Pink Pirouette and 1/4" Real Red grosgrain ribbon, Crystal Effects glaze on cherry, Cocoa icing highlighted with some Dazzling Diamonds. I added some clusters of Pretty In Pink dots all around the edges of the main image to create a frame.
This is a yummy set that I think you are going to love. I'll have some more samples to show you within the next few days.
