Hot Stuff!

This was for the Etsy Inspired Challenge #51 with the featured shop of Red Crow Arts. I chose the red peppers for my inspiration.

I used the new Artful INKables set South Of The Border and made a sun out of the peppers in red, yellow, and orange. I stamped most of them, alternating the coloring in red and yellow. The orange ones were all cut out individually and layered over the first ones. Scallop circle die cut from the Big Shot.

Clue card

There is a fun challenge going on at SCS by Mothermark based on the old board game Clue. I still have my original Clue game so I used that to display my multiple challenge card featuring Miss Scarlet (Artful INKables Think Big set) with today's color combination of Kraft, Real Red, and Chocolate and our DDC challenge this week hosted by Joan Ervin to use a pretty or glamorous girl on our card. My final accusation is Miss Scarlet in the Library with a rope :)

Music a La Carte

I love this new music set from Artful INKables I used the guitar and sentiment and Basic Grey Scarlet's Letter paper. I was going for 12 "guitar strings" as my embellishment but I didn't want to completely cover up that pretty paper.
Kristin from Artful INKables has started a new Featured Stamper Program so check out her blog for details. She also has a wonderful Bare Rubber sale going on that you may want to check out.

More Artful INKables

I really love this new set from Artful INKables called Boys Will Be Boys. I colored the image with Copic markers and used today's colors of Only Orange, Purely Pomegranate, and Brilliant Blue. Copic markers were: YR09 Chinese Orange, R39 Garnet,R11 Pale Cherry Pink, E21 Baby Skin Pink, B29 Ultramarine, BG10 Cool Shadow, YR24 Pale Sepia, E37 Sepia. Hodgepodge Hardware Antique Copper and mini butterfly punches for embellishing. I ran the orange cardstock through an inked Sizzix texture embossing folder. Simply brayer on the matching ink the same as the cardstock you are using before running it through the Big Shot. It gives it a bit more definition.

Blog Hop Today at Artful INKables!

There are four fabulous new sets available today at Artful INKables
My first card uses the beautiful and elegant set of 11 stamps called Music a la Carte. This includes 5 music images and 6 sentiments. I love it!! I used my SU Simply Scrappin' Kit Sweet Nothings with some Chocolate Chip cardstock.
My second card uses the Boys Will Be Boys set and I can't wait to also use it for some of my scrapbook pages. I made an accordion tag gift card holder and colored all of the images in with Copic markers. The center is a pocket where you can slide in cash or a gift card. Having a boy myself, this is a set I have been waiting for!
Please continue on the fun blog hop and see what our next design team member has for you at Dawn Lusk's wonderful blog.

Thoughts & Prayers

If you get a chance this weekend, head on over to Splitcoast for the Virtual Stamping Night. The theme is Las Vegas and the challenges are a lot of fun. My card shown here is to use as much gold as possible. I embossed the Bella Toile background in gold on metallic gold and Whisper White cardstocks. Gold embossed sentiment and image from Thoughts & Prayers set in gold and added mini pearls.

My sweet husband took me to Las Vegas for our 10 year anniversary and we were lucky enough to see this Cirque du Soleil production of Love. It was the most amazing, incredible thing I have ever seen.
My card is based on the cd cover and the song All You Need Is Love. When I think of Vegas I think of weddings so I used the silhouette stamp from Artful INKables. Other stamps used were Stitched Exotics, Polka Dots & Petals, Groovy by Close To My Heart.
If you can't get to Vegas to see this, at least get the cd, it is mixed so beautifully you will absolutely love it!!

My Palace Or Yours?

This is from the new Artful INKables set called Three Wishes which is a really fun set of 14 stamps. I'm really having a good time with this set and I think this stamp would be really great for a New Home congratulations.
I colored the palace with Copic markers and added some rhinestone tear drops. For the background I inked up one of the new SU Texture folders with Versamark, ran through the Big Shot and immediately embossed it with Irirdescent Ice powder. It looks really elegant in real life. I also used Sage Shadow and Elegant Eggplant cardstocks along with white organza ribbon.

I Dream Of Jeannie

This is the new release from Artful INKables called Three Wishes, a set of 14 stamps. I had to make this genie like I Dream Of Jeannie, I wanted to be her when I grew up or Sam from Bewitched :)
I colored my one image with markers, embossed the sentiment in gold, embossed the Always wheel on the Die Cuts With A View (Once Upon A Time) paper, and added the magic lamp charm (also from AI). I highlighted the earrings and the waistband jewels with the Sakura Stardust gel pen.
