Apple Blossoms

This is a new to me hostess set but getting ready to retire at the end of the month, it is called Apple Blossoms. I don't know how this set got by me when choosing my selections before, I really like it!
I used the old set of In Colors~ Razzleberry, Curry, Bermuda Bay, Melon Mambo and Soft Suede markers to color the leaves. Matting is Soft Suede on a Whisper White base.

Simply Soft

This is another new set coming up in the new Stampin' Up catalog, a hostess offering called Simply Soft. Clean and simple card on Whisper White with taffeta ribbon and hello sentiment from the new Pennant Parade.

Ruffled Ribbon Thanks

For today's Splitcoaststamper's Clean and Simple challenge to ruffle some ribbon. I ran a strip of sticky tape across the top, laying down ribbon and looping every little bit, tacking down each loop with glue dots.
All supplies are Stampin' Up:
Whisper White cardstock stamped with Bold Blossom in Old Olive, Pumpkin, Daffodil, Poppy Parade, and Melon Mambo. Daffodil taffeta ribbon.

Live, Laugh, and Love

For today's CAS sketch I used all Stampin' Up supplies. The base is White, then Apricot with the French Filigree in matching ink. White Swiss Dots embossed over that. Fifth Avenue Floral with On Your Birthday sentiment stamp sets.

Quick Birthday

Truly a 10 minute card, I have a little stack of these embossed SU tulip frame card bases all ready to go. I love this folder!
Sentiment is in Old Olive from On Your Birthday set, frame is a Nestabilities, paper is retired SU. Bella Rose maybe?

Pick A Petal Medallion

I love combining stamp sets. For this Clean and Simple challenge today, the mission was to do a 3D flower birthday card. I embossed the Medallion stamp in white on the Very Vanilla cardstock, Pick A Petal flower on Creamy Caramel also white embossed and cut out and layered. The center is a vintage brad. Matting is Crumb Cake with the base of Very Vanilla. Birthday sentiment is from Teeny Tiny wishes. All supplies are Stampin' Up.

Punch Potpourri

I love this level 1 hostess set by Stampin' Up called Punch Potpourri. All of the stamps coordinate with the punches they have. I colored the hearts in various colored markers and edges in Apricot Appeal ink. Build a Brad center with the flower only from the same heart image.

Medallion Day Of Gratitude

For this one layer card I combined the Medallion stamp in So Saffron and the new Day Of Gratitude stamp over top. This one was stamped using Ruby Red, Olive, Orange and Saffron. Sentiment stamped in Dusty Durango.

For Everything

A one layer thank you, fits a check size envelope.
I used the For Everything set by Stampin' Up in Old Olive, poppy, Basful Blue and Pacific Point on Whisper White base. Daffodil flower centers punched from Itty Bitty punch with half pearls.

Easy One Layer Thank You

Whisper White card base and Occasional Quotes (new level 3 hostess) from Stampin' Up. Flowers and vines stamped on border are by Inkadinkado.

Asian Artistry Inspiration

I was inspired today by the bottom card for today's challenge from the Green Rainbow shop to make my version with the Asian Artistry set by SU, sentiment by Verve, and cherry blossom stamp by Impress. Whisper White and Pirouette Pink cardstocks.

Garden Collage

A very quick and easy card.
Today's Clean and Simple Challenge was to make a sympathy card. I went with white on white and the embossing folder Elegant Bouquet. The Garden Collage bird image was colored with markers and shaded with pastel chalks. White satin ribbon also added.
All supplies are Stampin' Up except for scallop rectangle frame.

Pretty Petals

All supplies are current Stampin' Up.
I first inked the Pretty Petals background stamp in Pretty In Pink and then went over stems and leaves in Certainly Celery. I used markers to color butterflies and tiny flowers in Lavender Lace and then thumped on Regal Rose marker to large flowers, Bashful Blue to butterflies, and Old Olive to leaves. Simple Friendship butterfly added.

Color Challenge Pastels

Sizzix die Flowers & Vine #3 in Celery and Pretty In Pink, sentiment from All Holidays in Bashful Blue. Mellow Moss buttons with cream embroidery floss.

Variations on Circle Circus

Using a very similar style layout, here are three different cards made with the Circle Circus. Some are ones I made a while back but I wanted to show you how they look together.

Nature Silhouettes

Blended Crushed Curry and Dust Durango for background on Whisper White, tree in Basic Brown and deer in Soft Suede. Chocolate and Pumpkin grosgrain ribbon with Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for sentiment. The White background was embossed with the texturz plate Perfect Details.

New SU- Lots Of Bots

I will be posting new sneak peeks from Stampin' Up all week so please stop by often.
This is for today's Clean and Simple challenge on SCS, I chose the new Lots Of Bots and repeated the balloon, star, and hat from the main image for the background. Colored in markers. This is a super fun set of 5 stamps perfect for kids, the sci fi lover, the techie. (I had this set in mind especially for my husband, the computer programmer/writer). The stamp below that I created a background with is all ones and zeroes, I am sure I will be using this one often for cards for him.
Lots Of Bots is lots of fun!

Rock and Roll Butterfly

For the rock and roll technique, start with your lighter color and ink the stamp completely. Take your darker color and just roll the stamp around the edge, picking up the darker color. You can ink in a little bit farther in for more color or just on the very edge. Experiment and see which you like, both ways are very pretty.
I used Summer Sun and Only Orange for the butterfly, Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive for the sprigs, Summer Sun for the smaller ones. I embossed the retired French Script background almost as an afterthought. I noticed similar script in the butterfly image and carried that over to the background.

Ladybug Inspired

I was inspired by this bedding from JC Penney. See card below. Images by Close To My Heart, sentiment by A Muse. I highlighted the ladybug spots with a black glaze pen for added dimension (Sakura). Bottom inside dsp is Sweet Nothings by SU.
