I am on to week two of the Facebook group Weekly Cardmaking Challenges for 2022, the prompt was a church as a focal point. This is an older retired image from Stampin' Up! on Bashful Blue card stock. I highlighted areas with a mixture of Stickles, Wink of Stella shimmer, and Cosmic Shimmer Fluffy Stuff (heated to activate). The background is an embossing folder by Crafters Companion.

I will be working on some New Year's and holiday thank you cards today. Originally I was going to use this for a New Year's card but it seems more Christmas-y so I'll save it for next year!
Stamps and coordinating dies by Recollections (Joann's or Michaels).

This was a fun and easy technique that I have never tried before. Simply ink the strips of masking tape and adhere them to your white card stock. I went over the tape with a bone folder to get all of the ink to transfer better.
Santa's Helpers card kit December and snowflake embossing folder is from Simon Says Stamp.
Ribbon and ink colors of Crisp Cantaloupe, Old Olive, and Marina Mist from Stampin' Up! Card base is Blushing Bride.

Today's Splitcoast CAS challenge was "trees". I used a Honey Bee trees stencil and a Stampin' Up! woodgrain embossing folder along with their Garden Green and Handsome Hunter card stocks. The Pink Pirouette seam binding ribbon was colored with a Copic marker to match the Simon Says Stamp Limited Edition Gift Card Kit wreath. Added some Pink Fresh faceted gems for ornaments.

The challenge from the past Monday at Simon Says Stamp was to feature Santa and a stamp by Stampendous if you had one. I love this old fashioned Santa so I tried to make it look like a vintage postcard with some Tim Holtz distress oxide inks on cream colored card stock.
Total cuteness with these Santa's Helpers layering ephemera papers from Simon Says Stamp's December card kit. I kept the background clean and simple with an embossed birch trees background on heavy white card stock and some punched glitter paper snowflakes.

These cute layering tags from the December Simon Says Stamp card kit are really easy and fun to work with. I love the dimension of the image, it adds so much! I had the original 12"x12" Made By Elves paper pad from Craft Consortium that I used for the background.

I was inspired by the Simon Says Stamp designer Cindy Norberg for the shadowbox. Actually it was the white one on the included card kit designer sheet and I honestly did not even see the one she made a couple of days ago that looks just like this, same colors and everything. Santa's Helpers is the December kit of the month with one of my favorite paper designers- Craft Consortium.

More from the November card kit from SSS, this wonderful box of goodies! Added some punch greenery pieces and half pearls from my supplies. I really love the deep etching of this embossing folder that came with the kit and didn't want to cover it up too much.

Getting back into the swing of things after a long overdue vacation. Christmas will be here before we know it so let the decorating and crafting begin in earnest!
This is all from the Simon Says Stamp November card kit with the exception of the snow mix sequins which are Stampin' Up!

I love combining different stamp sets to get something unique. This card uses the Submarine Cubbies from Art Impressions, the ghosts from Hello Bluebird "Frightful Little Bits" stamps and dies, and the sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp "Happy Haunting". Background done with Tim Holtz distress oxide inks of Black Soot, Wilted Violet, Chipped Sapphire, and Salty Ocean. Bottom coral is Hedgehog Hollow.

Treat bags were made using the Simon Says Stamp 2018 limited edition card kit Frightful Fun. I decorated the box that the pieces came in too! Top left corner. I figure if I package up the candy this way it has a chance of still being here when the trick or treaters come. My guys would never undo all of my hard work! They are sweeter that all of the candy.

The Sunflower Garden set from the September kit from Simon Sys Stamp is gorgeous, one of my faves with all of those added goodies it came with. This card is so sparkly shimmery in real life, painted with Tombow dual brush markers and pearl ex powders and then completely covered in shimmer spray.

Catching up with the Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge, somehow I missed Day 18 so here it is. I am not ready to let go of summer just yet, the temps are finally becoming bearable after a few big heat waves.
Simon Says Stamp pumpkin, sentiment, sprig, and paper with small leaves from Inkadinkado.
