Challenge for food and drink, I went with a tropical beverage. Everything is yummy when you drink it from a coconut, I'm sure :)
Sunny Studio Stamps Tiki Time elephant, Pretty Pink Posh hibiscus stencil in craft white over a simple background of scribbled swipes of Copic markers to create an easy rainbow. Then ran it through Big Shot with a 3d tropical leaves embossing folder. Aloha die is by Lawn Fawn.
I hope you can join us for this week's color challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. The colors are Rococo Rose, Mint Macaron, and Shaded Spruce (or the closest thing you have). Optional theme of Christmas.
I used Stampin' Up's Pretty Pines thinlits for the greenery in the greens and Spellbinders poinsettia die for the flowers. Base is Rococo Rose with a Sizzix 3D embossing folder. Sentiment is by Stampabilities in the Spruce color.

Lots of Lawn Fawn on this boy's birthday card! Love Ya Bunches monkeys and Wild For You lion and sentiment, tropical leaves stencils and vines and mini flowers from the tropical background leaves dies, new birthday sentiment die cut. I added some Nuvo glow in the dark drops to the flower centers. This made me smile so I hope he loves it!

Bought the whole beautiful bundle from the new Craft Consortium release Sea and Shore. Looking for some samples to be inspired by but there is nothing really out yet. A great challenge for myself, to come up with some ideas for these beach/nautical/sea creatures stamps and papers. (And shell charms, sequins, die cuts. Swoon!)

I had a nice quiet afternoon while the boys were out fishing. It was lovely to dive into some new goodies from the Stampin' Up! catalog, using the Artistically Inked and Pansy suite collections. I basically just cased and amended some of the samples in the catalog since I just wanted to stamp and not try to re-invent the wheel with new ideas. Lovely to just assemble some cards and listen to some John Prine. Life is good.

I am starting to get back into challenges on a daily basis, it really helps me to focus which has been a bit difficult this past year.
This prompt was from the Global Design Project, case the designer Susan Wong. I went with a monochromatic theme like her pretty hydrangea card that was all in blues.
Loving the Pansy collection from the new Stampin' Up! catalog. I used some retired Petal Pink/Whisper White ribbon that seemed to go with it nicely.

We have been quarantining at home for over a year and decided we needed a little change of view for a few days. Got a cute little VRBO cottage on Vashon Island, right on the water. So relaxing, spending the days reading, coloring, going for walks, and enjoying the passing boats, rowing crews, ducks, gulls, and otters. I brought a bag of images I had previously stamped and some alcohol markers. Will make all into Cards For Kindness when I get home. This is a card we will be leaving at the rental place when we leave. It is an old, retired Stampin' Up! wheel with a Lawn Fawn thanks sentiment.
