Bloomin' Beautiful
I love the Moxie Fab website as a source for daily inspiration. The Tuesday Trigger for this week is this vase of roses. I used the soon to be retired Stampin' Up Bloomin' Beautiful set colored in Copic markers along with Basic Grey Two Scoops designer paper and matching brads, SU Buckaroo Blue cardstock and white taffeta ribbon.

Dream Garden
For the pounded flower technique I used fuchsia blossoms on watercolor paper. Warning: these flowers are very juicy and made quite a mess of my Big Shot but I was pleased with the result after cleanup. This is very easy, simply arrange your blossoms on top of the watercolor paper and run it through your Big Shot or Cuttlebug. Sandwich in some paper towels to catch the moisture (wish I had thought of that). I then embossed Asian Poetry (retired SU) background in gold along with the crane stamp at bottom. Asian woman was stamped in Rich Razzleberry on the watercolor paper and colored in with marker.

Pears and Hollyhock
Today's Featured Stamper was Debbie Seyer and I chose one of her pretty Mark's Finest Papers creations to case.
I love the blues in her design and that fabulous pear image which I am lucky enough to have. I added microbeads to the pear and made the background out of the emblem from the Ladybugs and Carnation set, embossed in white. Ribbon also from MFP.
From Sea To Shining Sea
I just realized how quickly the Fourth of July is approaching. I was born in Philadelphia, home of the Declaration Of Independence! What a beautiful city, rich in the history of our nation's founding. You should go and visit if you ever have the opportunity. I am a long way from home on the other coast but every little corner of this land is beautiful to me and I am happy and proud to be an American.
I used a die cut shape of the USA with the Red, White, and Blue jumbo wheel from Stampin' Up, the new Marina Mist and Cherry Cobbler cardstocks, the textured squares embossing folder, pinking heart border punch, and white taffeta ribbon.

Speedy's Friends Flowers!
This week our challenge at Mark's Finest Papers is to create a card with 3 flowers on it. I started out that way with the hollyhock image that had 3 blooms on it and then I thought it would look pretty cool if I turned the stamp upside down and stamped again to make a longer stalk. I like it! Cardstock, ribbon and Pears and Hollyhock stamp set are from Mark's Finest Papers. Come and join us for this blog challenge, it will be fun and there will be a prize winner selected!

Homemade Ice Cream
The challenge at SCS today was to make an ice cream card. I didn't have any current ice cream stamps so I had to make a "homemade" image. Two Scoops designer paper by Basic grey on More Mustard card base. The ice cream cone was made with the bottom part from the old retired SU set Perfect Party and the top was a cupcake stamp from Cupcake Birthday from Mark's Finest Papers. Sentiment (Short & Sweet from SU) was stamped on a real wooden ice cream spoon.
Rich Regals brads and mustard grosgrain ribbon by SU.

Greenhouse Gala & Friends Never Fade
Inspired by Pam Hooten's treat bag, I used the new Friends Never Fade set with the upcoming Greenhouse Gala designer paper. I used an old piece of lace to make a blossom and added a button to the center, some Chocolate taffeta ribbon, and the flower center on the bottom is done with brown micro beads (non SU).

Cupcake Birthday and Pop Up Cake Die
Please come and join us over at Mark's Finest Papers for Speedy's Friends challenge to use embossing. I white embossed on the white and used the Sizzix pop up cake die and the fabulous set from Mark's Finest Papers called Cupcake Birthday. I love this sentiment from that set and all of the other sweet stamps that go with it!
Elements Of Style Butterfly
All supplies are Stampin' Up. I used the Elements of Style and the Bigz butterfly die with the new black 1/8" taffeta ribbon and the punches set (thanks) from the new catalog. Black scallop border is the Sizzix die and the paper is actually from the last holiday mini and is a flocked snowflake which is mostly covered so you can't tell. I loved the fine stripe on it which is what I was mainly going for. Hope you like it!

Artistic Etchings
I love this new Artistic Etchings set and everything that coordinated with it (those items will be available in the July Stampin' Up catalog). I used the new Cherry Cobbler (another favorite) with Early Espresso, which is a deeper and richer shade than the Chocolate Chip. I stamped the medallion on the Cherry and ran it through the Big Shot with an embossing folder. Stamped the main image with a lighter stamping of the Sahara Sand in En Francais with the Eiffel Tower over top.

Pears and Hollyhock and Sleeping Cherub
For today's Inspiration challenge (the borders on the home page) and for Mark's Finest Papers Speedy's Friends challenge to make your own designer paper with stamps. I used MFP's Pears and Hollyhock set colored in Copic markers and shaded with pastel chalks. Added pink satin ribbon to embellish.
I was inspired by the pink beaded cherub pillow found here:
http://roses-and-teacups.com/ Stamp is unknown, embellished with silk flowers, pearls, lace, stick pin, and white satin ribbon.
Cute By The Inch
I used the new Cute By The Inch set (sneak peek Level 2 hostess set from SU) for the owl on the inside of the card and the tiny bird on branch with the sentiment at the top of the tree. Season of Friendship set for tree and flowers with some pink paper flower accents and pink taffeta ribbon. Circle was cut with a circle cutter. Very Vanilla card base, one layer.
Time saving Tip: I have prepared a huge assortment of A2 card bases so they are ready to grab and go. Stored in a shoebox for my new shelf.

Operation Organization
Before
After
As you can tell from the Before picture, the situation was critical. I could never find anything and was not very productive with the mess at this level. What better time to do a craft space makeover, while I am waiting for all of the new Stampin' Up goodies coming in July. I began by removing everything from the table, getting a new cloth, this will hide the storage bins underneath and keep the area brighter. I organized the ink pads, separating the current from the retired. As you can tell I save them all (back to Mauve Mist and Mint Melody). I dumped all of my SU buttons into this pretty crystal jar. I got a new storage cubicle at Michael's with my 50% off coupon. I plan to get more of these storage solutions as I get more coupons and will continue refining the organization even more.
Just take a small baby step and start with one small area at a time and you will eventually get it nice and neat. The real challenge will be keeping it that way!

Artistic Etchings
I was inspired by the Dreams du Jour sample in the new SU catalog for this card. I changed it up a little bit adding the new Artistic Etchings stamps to the Soft Suede base. Crochet lace is from my stash as I anxiously await the new SU laces that look so awesome.
Occasional Quotes
I love this new cheery designer paper called Greenhouse Gala. I also used one of the quotes from the level 3 hostess sets called Occasional Quotes. For the top and bottom images I used one of the stamps from the Friends Never Fade set. Pumpkin Pie card base.

This first card uses the new sneak peek set from SU in Baja Breeze, Marina Mist, and Riding Hood Red. I stamped the flower 3 times in Versamark and clear emboosed, then layered it. Sizzix die Swirls and the Bird punch branch were also used.
I created a background in Coral with one of the images, popped up a flower on main sentiment panel. Used today's colors of Ruby Red, Cameo Coral, and Tempting Turquoise.
