SU gift bag

Two posts in one day? I can hardly believe it myself. I have been in such a stamping slump for the longest time and I'm trying to shake myself out of it. Thanks for hanging in there for me. I do appreciate you stopping by to visit with me.

The gift bags are from a previous SU mini, I embossed them with the Northern Flurry embossing folder and added the Snow Much Fun snowman, some pearls and baker's twine. A quick and easy gift packaging project.

I've embossed the white bags, but this is way more interesting! I love the "snowball" he's holding!

I found this CUTE gift bag on Pinterest. What did you use to color the snowman's body in white? TIA.

Hi Valerie,
I stamped the snowman on the bag and then stamped another on white card stock, colored and cut it out and added it on top of the stamped image. Hope this helps.

Hi love the bag I am going to ask a stupid questions (and yes there is such a thing as a stupid question LOL)

When you say embossed you mean stamping ink pad with embossing stamp pad and not an embossing folder? Then use embossing powder and heat set

Hi Laura,
No, it is actually I guess what you would call dry embossing with an embossing folder (Northern Flurry for this one). Then you lightly swipe some white craft ink directly from the pad atop snowflakes to make them stand out a bit more.
