Recycled Craft Drawer
I found this wood craft drawer at the Goodwill for $2. It was natural wood so I painted it with a white pearl acrylic, added some Graphic45 designer paper to the drawer fronts and used crystal teardrop shaped large beads as the pulls, the point is poked in through the hole where the little wood ball handles were. I thought this dressed it up quite a bit. Matches perfectly with my peaches and cream colors that I chose for my stamping space.
It's garage sale season, get out there and poke around! You never know what kind of treasures you can find to repurpose for next to nothing.

Handmade Bow-Rosette Hybrid
I wondered what would happen if I combined a handmade bow with one of the rosettes as I was putting the bow together. I love the way it turned out! I added some silver cording so you can use it as an ornament after you take it off of a wrapped gift.
Supplies are all Stampin' Up: Be of Good Cheer designer paper, button and silver cording. A great tutorial for the bows can be found at Splitcoast in the Resources section. I sewed through all of the paper layers to secure the button so this baby isn't coming apart any time soon!

Serene Silhouettes
A super quick CAS card using the new Stampin' Up set Serene Silhouettes in Daffodil, Pumpkin, Real Red, Pacific Point, and Old Olive. Base was embossed with Square Lattice folder and then run through the Big Shot again to flatten it out some. Greeting is from You Are Loved, the sentiments in this set are so versatile.

Postage Due
Supplies used are Stampin' Up. Page size is 8"x8" with a base of Not Quite Navy, Riding Hood Red, and some Very Vanilla. I stamped the new stamp from Postage Due in NQN and shaded it with some RHR and Sahara Sand. I really love how the back bicycle wheel continued on so perfectly from the flower. A happy accident. Spritzed with silver Smooch Spritz which gives it a lovely pearlescence. Designer Paper is the new Fan Fair. Sentiment is from Pedaling Past.

Stampin' Up Bordering On Romance
I got a new box of goodies from Stampin' Up and I'm really looking forward to trying everything out. One of my new sets is Bordering On Romance, shown here. I used this week's Mojo Monday sketch and some of the new stitched ribbon in Summer Starfruit (which I love with Pool Party). Designer paper is from last catalog, I only got two new dps with this order so I had to use one of the retired ones to make it work.

Ex Libris
With each new Stampin' Up catalog, there is always one stamp or set that makes me gasp or squeak in happiness. This was it for me this year, the background stamp Ex Libris. I have had a lifelong passion for old books and reading so this was perfect. I knew that I wanted to give it an antique look, so I stamped it in Soft Suede and smeared some verdigris looking colors- True Thyme, gold, and Color Box Pumpkin. Soft Suede base and sentiment from You Are Loved. Quick, easy, and flat for mailing.

SU gift bag
Two posts in one day? I can hardly believe it myself. I have been in such a stamping slump for the longest time and I'm trying to shake myself out of it. Thanks for hanging in there for me. I do appreciate you stopping by to visit with me.
The gift bags are from a previous SU mini, I embossed them with the Northern Flurry embossing folder and added the Snow Much Fun snowman, some pearls and baker's twine. A quick and easy gift packaging project.
