Paper Pinecone Ornament

My first attempt at a paper pinecone ornament with a tutorial I came across at The Hybrid Chick website. You start with a styrofoam egg and layer your folded paper in rows. I'm sure my following efforts will be neater and I will make my points a bit smaller but I'm happy with my starter. Designer paper is retired SU. This is a great way to use up some of that dp you have in storage! Poinsettias are silk Primas.

Joanne, this turned out so pretty! I am sure, along with me, that the gals at the Hybrid Chick appreciate what you've created from their tutorials. I'm glad you were inspired!
