Season Of Joy
A color challenge card for the Hope You Can Cling To cards for cancer card drive. I had hoped to participate in all of the challenges but the days of October really got away from me.
This card uses all Stampin' Up supplies~ Candy Cane Christmas paper with the Season Of Joy stamp set, white taffeta ribbon, and pinking hearts border punch. I used Cool Caribbean cardstock but you could swap it out for Baja Breeze if you want to stay with current products. The challenge called for aqua so this choice worked better for me. I added a bit of fine green glitter to the tree. The sentiment Celebrate seems to work better with a bit of sparkle :)

Colors of Autumn
Jolliest Foursome
I used the adorable Stampin' Up set Jolliest Time of The Year and the new holiday mini paper Candy Cane Christmas. From one sheet of Real Red cardstock, I cut two 4x4" square cards and with the leftover piece I had enough to make two tags. For the tags I used the Perfect Punches set and the reverse side of the polka dot paper. New glitter brads and red taffeta ribbon. All supplies are Stampin' Up.

Mark's Finest Papers stamp set is Seasonal Poinsettia which was embossed in gold and then shaded with chalk pastels, card was spritzed with vanilla and gold Smooch Spritz for a lot of shimmer. Cardstock and snowflake charm are also from MFP.
Project #4 on my Countdown to Christmas!
Santa Suit
My card folds are the flaps on each side, and one on the inside that you can see from the second picture :)
Real Red, Black, Brushed Silver, and Whisper White cardstock. Martha Stewart punch for center. The inside is Blush Blossom with the Fruit Of The Looms in Whisper White with Bashful Blue stitching and a handprinted sentiment. I saw this idea for the inside on a Cardcraft magazine and adapted it for a gift card holder and changed it up a little bit with the sentiment and details.
This is project #3 on my Christmas Countdown!

Challenge Cards
These are for the Hope You Can Cling To challenges presented this month at Splitcoast to support breast cancer awareness and for patients and their families. See the details on SCS and they have prizes available too!
My first card here is for a challenge to not use any sentiment on the front of your card. I also used a sketch from Paper Players. Stamp set is our Daily Bread Designs with Basic Grey Cappella paer.
The second card uses the same paper and the retired SU stamp set Fashion Statements. The challenge is to be inspired by lingerie.
Embossed Holly
My second project in my Christmas Countdown is a card. I embossed the holly sprig from Bells & Boughs in gold and colored with markers. I used the Petals-A-Plenty embossing folder and inked it with gold ink before running it through the Big Shot to get some additional color. Card base is Brushed Gold and the ribbon is retired, all from Stampin' Up.

Christmas Countdown
I will be posting an ornament, decoration, card or some type of Christmas project frequently from now until the big day. I am trying for a new idea to show every single day so I hope you will stop by often to see what I have made.
My first little ornament was made using the new holiday mini designer paper Candy Cane Christmas and a Real Red corduroy button by Stampin' Up.
Thanksgiving Girl
All supplies are from Mark's Finest papers. The stamp set is called Thankful For You, colored in Copic markers. For her apron I pierced a bunch of dots and then added white gel pen highlights in the holes to make it look like an embroidered pinafore. For her dress I added fine red lines as a pattern.
Designer paper is Indian Summer by Basic Grey.

I love the colors of fall. For this I chose this lovely Indian Summer designer paper by Basic Grey and available at Mark's Finest Papers. The stamp set is the new release also by MFP called A Walk In The Woods for the tree, the leaves are from the set Autumn Fun. Both were embossed in copper and I added some Blushing Caramel Twinkling H2O's to the leaves for additional shimmer.

This is for today's shimmer technique on Splitcoast, the first time I've used my box of Pearl Ex jars, this was silver on the snowman body and trees. I also added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter to hat band and Martha Stewart snow to tree. Stamp set is Snowman Country from Mark's Finest Papers, sketch is Mojo Monday. Mark's Finest Papers Blog Hop Day 3
Today's featured set is Thankful For You. I used the little girl image, colored in Copics and stamped the stalks in a mustard color. Sentiment is stamped in dark brown. Background was sponged on inks for field and sky. I drew some stripes in the gown with a fine lined ruby color marker.
My second project was a snap, our Thanksgiving placecards. This is a great little project to get all of the kids in on. The background stamping of the leaves (from Autumn Fun) was stamped on yellow cardstock in various ink colors. The label is a Sizzix die with the oval tag stamped with the wheat from this Thankful set and the sentiment was done in a dark orange and personalized with a matching marker. These measure 2 1/4" x 2 3/4" and are folded in half. On the inside we write either a blessing, prayer, or things we are thankful for.

Xyron Projects
Xyron puts the ease in adhesive!!
I was so happy to have been given the Xyron Create A Sticker to review. I love this gadget! Just insert your paper, cut out, or ribbon and it is perfectly covered in adhesive on the one side. It goes on so smoothly without any lumps or spreading like you would get with a glue product. My favorite uses are for ribbon and alphabets. I always found it so challenging to get the narrow pieces of the letters adhered with a tape dispenser. This solves all of those issues. Check out some of the cards I made with the Xyron!

Seasonal Poinsettia and A Time To Chill
Two fun new sets from Mark's Finest Papers today!
The first card is a pop up stage card that uses the new set Time To Chill. I cut out all of the critters and added them to the base with tabs. Snow and drippy punch are by Martha Stewart.
The second card is Seasonal Poinsettia. I colored the image with Copic markers and embossed the sentiment in gold. Paper is by Memory Box.

Northern Hearts
I combined a few challenges and techniques for this card. I used the technique challenge of wet stamping on the watercolor paper by stamping the Northern Hearts flake in Baja and then Bermuda. I spritzed it with Vanilla and Splash Smooch Spritz over everything. I then silver embossed the flakes and sentiment (from Mark's Finest Papers new set Time To Chill).
The CAS challenge was for a crinkle which is my background for the sparkled flake from the Northen Flurries Sizzlits die from SU. I used the Xyron sticker maker for the ribbon, snowflake, and sentiment, a great source for adhesive. Love this little gem!

Time To Chill
This is a sneak peek of the new set called Time To Chill from Mark's Finest Papers due out this coming Tuesday. I used some dp from a large paper pack that I got from Costco with a felt snowflake and rhinestomes from Stampin' Up to embellish. This is also for our challenge this week at Speedy's Friends to include stripes in our card designs along with the SCS Inspiration challenge.

Tissue Paper DP
The challenge for today was to use tissue paper in some way. This is not at all what I intended at first but I'm happy with the end result. I went looking for some plain white tissue to make a flower with and came across this old fashioned Santa tissue paper. I adhered a piece to the Kraft piece and mounted to a Cherry Cobbler base. For the flower I cut about 15 of the scallop circles from the same paper and made a paper rose (a small store bought rose is in the very center). The stamp set is SU's Bells & Boughs from the current holiday mini.

Deck The Halls Cardinal
My mission this week is to use up some of my massive collection of designer paper. I was amazed and a little alarmed at just how much of this stuff I have managed to accumulate! Geez Louise, I may need some therapy. This card uses the new Deck The Halls paper from Stampin' Up with a Cherry Cobbler base. Also by SU are the clear buttons with the Itty Bitty Bits flower and matching punch. The cardinal image is a sneak peek from the new set by Mark's Finest Papers called Greetings of The Season due out next week. It feels good to get another Christmas card done, I'd love to finish at least 3 a week to get a good headstart on the holiday season.

Embossed Backgrounds
The embossing folders make such quick and easy backgrounds, I love the texture and depth they give to your card. For the first card I combined French Foliage with Elements of Style by Stampin' Up. Challenges combined are CAS faux Letterpress and Split image technique on SCS today. Embossing folder and all supplies are by Stampin' Up. Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Soft Suede, Chocolate Chip, Pumpkin Pie.
The second card is a sneak peek of Mark's Finest Papers new holiday set called Seasonal Poinsettia, available next week. I wanted to use it in a non-traditional way so I went with blues. I embossed the flower and sentiment in silver and colored in the image in various blues. The embossing folder is by Stampin' Up with Marina Mist cardstock, white satin ribbon is by MFP.
