Hey Chickadee
I used a soft suede textured cardstock base and some designer paper by Cosmo Cricket, coordinating ribbon, and silver fancy embossed brads. I like to add lots of piercing on all of the edges some sponged on shading to all of the image and sentiment panels. Chickadee from the A Little Birdie Told Me set by Firecracker Designs By Pamela was colored in Copic markers. The card fold is the easel style and stands up and also lays flat for easy mailing.

It's Virtual Stamp Weekend!!
This is so much fun if you have time to join in over at Splitcoast. The challenges for this May VSN are "All May Showers" themed.
The first card is for the color challenge of Kraft, So Saffron, and Cameo Coral. All supplies are Stampin' Up.
The second card uses the serigraph technique which is to mask off areas of your white cardstock and brayer colors onto it, removing and re-positioning masking papers with each color addition. For the serigraph background I used Apricot, Celery, Banana, and Ruby Red inks. Embossed Elements Of Style in white over top. Black card base, Flirty rickrack (retired SU), and rhinestone brads.
My third card is for the blue and gray Splish Splash challenge. I used Mark's Finest Papers new satmp set coming out in June called Pears and Hollyhock. What a beautiful set of images and sentiments this contains. I colored the hummingbird and flowers with Copic markers, used some of MFP's organdy ribbon, some SU cardstock and retired dp, and an unknown silver hardware frame.
The fourth card is a flower pot design using Vintage Vogue for the flowers with the Bird punch branch. Weathered background in Sahara Sand on Whisper White. Oval All sentiment with organdy ribbon.

Asian Artistry
I really love this set by Stampin' Up called Asian Artistry. I cut a half circle and stamped and colored the blossom image and then folded it into a fan. For the main panel with the bird in the bamboo I wanted it to resemble a silk screen panel. The card base panel I has in my box of saved goodies, don't know where it is from.
Summer Scene
Summer is on it's way! I combined 4 challenges for this card.
Today's Ways To Use It challenge called for paints. I used white acrylic paint and a sponge dauber on the sky and Krylon spray paint Stone effects for the beach. Tropical Party and It's The Thought stamp sets with a retired SU sentiment.
Also for the Teapot Tuesday challenge with Trish Lafish at the beach, the color challenge of Bermuda Bay, Real Red, and Kraft, and the CAS challenge to make a summer card.

Black Magic Technique
It's hard to see the green stems and leaves on the black but the True Friend set is colored with Prismacolor pencils after being stamped with Versamark on Basic Black cardstock. All supplies are Stampin' Up.
The second card uses Firecracker Designs sets The Little Things and A Little Bird Told Me, colord in Copic markers with Stampin' Up Cottage Wall dsp.

Fifth Avenue Floral rose
SU Fifth Avenue Floral rose was silver embossed on the luxurious pink shimmer cardstock by Mark's Finest Papers ( I love this stuff!). I used the re-inkers to add some more color. Fleur de Lis die also cut from this same cs with Lovely Flowers dp from Hostess level 3 SU. Leaves are silk, added pearls and wide pink satin ribbon.

Zentangle
This is an interesting technique that you can see more samples of on Zentagle.com
Basically it is black and white doodling, either by hand or you can use your stamps, I combined. This uses the Time Well Spent set and some miscellaneous mini stamps, and a black marker. It was very time consuming and my hand is numb but I was happy that I tried something new!

Elements Of Style Hummingbird
I have a new little hummingbird friend that comes to my kitchen window everyday to enjoy my hanging basket. I tried to use some of the colors I see in him/her? Sometimes it just hovers there and looks at me. So cute!!
I used markers on the image and hummingbird (this was cut out and popped up). The card base is the new Presto Patterns dp that I used the Vanilla smooch spritz on and then while it was still wet, I used my aquapainter dipped in Pretty In Pink re-inker and wiped it around with a paper towel. It looks really pretty and shimmery up close.

Wild West Alphabet
A slightly different take on today's shadowbox technique, I made windows with the letters behind them. I used Wild West alphabet, embossed Cocoa cardstock with clear Twill background and used chocolate grosgrain ribbon.
Shabby Chic Elements
Well, I am certainly getting my money's worth out of the Elements Of Style set.
I used Naturals Ivory cardstock, embossed Bella Toile in clear, made a layered shadow box frame around main image that was colored in markers. The pink organdy ribbon photographed much brighter than it really is.

Father's Day Box
The deer, tree, and sentiment are from Firecracker Designs By Pamela. I highlighted the tree with white gel pen, used the smooch spritz from SU on the Creamy Caramel panel and hardware and linen thread to embellish. Paper is by K&CO. This is a re-purposed candy box that will be for my husband's Father's Day gift. Not sure what we are going to fill it with yet!

Elements Of Style
This is a case of ctorina's card for today's Featured Stamper challenge. I love Cathleen's style, everything is so beautifully detailed, elegant, and romantic looking.
I used the Elements Of Style set along with retired SU designer paper Parisian Summer. White organdy ribbon and filigree brads to embellish. Fleur de Lis die is Spellbinders Nestabilities.

Tropical Party & Island Floral die
The large flower is made with the new Island Floral Sizzix Bigz die from the SU summer mini. Lots of possibilities with this die. I tried to make a hibiscus but it looks like an Asiatic lily. Using the embossing stylus I drew veins on the petals and curled them, added a More Mustard piece of knotted ribbon as the stamen. The flowers are stamped and cut out using Melon Mambo, Real Red, and Pretty In Pink.
I was inspired by the plate in the second picture for this card. All supplies are Stampin' Up.

Spotlight on Elements Of Style
This is the first time I have tried this spotlight technique and what a time saver it is! Elements of Style colored in markers with Old Olive, Basic Black, and Real Red cardstocks. All supplies are SU including red polka dot grosgrain ribbon and jumbo grommets. Was never quite sure what to do with these but this seemed to work well for this card. It needed just a little something something at the bottom.

Charming Vintage Vogue
I really love these two SU stamp sets Charming and Vintage Vogue, I hope that they make it into the new catalog. I used an older retired paper and I don't know what it is called. Card base is Basic Gray and I also used Regal Rose and Whisper White. Older felt embellishments with Pretties Kit pearl and Beautiful Wings embosslit to embellish.

Hatbox or Purse Stationery Holder
I love this hatbox project designed by Sue Berker for Clear and Simple stamps and the sample by Lori Tecler as SCS Featured Stamper. You can use this as a purse/gift holder. I am going to fill this with all occasion cards and add some stamps and save for a gift. I will add the pictures when I make the cards.
All supplies are Stampin' Up: Rich Razzleberry textured cardstock, Razzleberry Lemonade paper, Vintage Vogue and Extra Postage stamp sets, rhinestone brads and pink taffeta ribbon. This is also for Mark's Finest Papers Speedy's Friends challenge to use a corner punch (on sentiment).
Birdhouse Set
I love this sweet bird set from Firecracker Designs by Pamela called A Little Bird Told Me. I made a set of all occasion notecards to match the birdhouse. The template for the house is from Nichole Heady's Capture The Moment blog.

Medallion Top Note Wallet
The inspiration for today came from the Huset website where I chose the green and white handbag in the second picture. I followed the tutorial for the Top Note Wallet found on StampinAddicts.com in the 3D challenges forum. It's really easy to do.
Whisper White Top Note die, one for front and one for back both stamped in Old Olive. Brads and new Little Bits button also used to embellish. Sponged edges with both Celery and Olive inks.

Red, White, And Blue
This is the new Red, White, and Blue jumbo wheel by Stampin' Up. All supplies used were SU. Cardbase is Not Quite Navy with wheel rolled in matching ink. I carefully inked the America The Beautiful sentiment and the flag with markers and rolled them separately. The star is an unknown SU one that is retired, the ribbon is the red striped grosgrain, the envelope is the Sizzix scallop envelope die. The ribbon pin is removable and can be worn.

Pedaling Past
This is a fun new set from Stampin' Up called Pedaling Past.
I used Basic Grey? Kissing Kate paper because I love the old fashioned, rustic look of it, just what I had in mind for this set. The crocheted flower is from the 1940's that I found on ebay. The detail on this is amazing, someone had a lot of talent to crochet this finely. The main image is done using the cracked glass technique to make it look older. Maybe I am becoming vintage myself since my sister had a bicycle just like the one in this set!
