Jack Skellington Ornaments
Billy and I made some Jack Skellington ornaments (from The Nightmare Before Christmas) last night using store bought frosted white balls, a black Sharpie, red felt fabric and fur. Billy did all of the artwork.

Gift Tag Bag
I started out making a gift tag which turned into a bag. I used the Sizzix bag with scallops die in Whisper White, Jolliest Time of the Year Santa and peppermint patties in a cello bag. Red twine tied to close. Applied gold Smooch accent ink to belt.

Santa's Boots
Today's Clean and Simple challenge was to make a card with shoes. I don't have much in the way of shoe stamps so I made my own. I drew Santa's Boots in with black markers and covered completely in Crystal Effects for shine (hard to see the gloss in the photo). Added a strip of Sticky Strip to the top and coated with Polar White Flower Soft. Embossed with Northern Flurries folder and added sentiment in red.

Holly Berry Santa
I used the new Holly Berry Bouquet designer paper and the Jolliest Time of the Year Santa peeking out of the corner. The wreath was made using the Martha Stewart fern punch in Garden Green and I made some pine cones out of small flowers punched from Soft Suede.

A Claus For Christmas

I loved today's SCS sketch and made two more holiday cards. I'll have to flip the sketch, I think it would be really pretty going the other way also.
For my first card I used all Stampin' Up supplies. The owl punch was used for Mr. and Mrs. Claus and the hat is from the retired Cold Play set. Sentiment from Holiday Sampler. Paper is retired, cardstocks used were Old Olive, Real Red, and Very Vanilla.
The second card uses Mark's Finest Papers and the sets Greetings Of The Season and Flourishes and Frames.
Projects 31 qnd 32 toward my Christmas goal.

Pop Up Cake Die

This pop up cake die will be available in the upcoming SU catalog. I had a chance to preorder it and couldn't resist since there are endless possibilties for this little must have. (Thanks, Julie!)
I used Real Red cardstock for the body and added some Whisper White that I edged with the scallop edge punch, the head was a 1 3/4" circle in Blush Blossom, nose and eyes from a standard hole punch, beard three flower punch, hat is scallop square and oval combined. Black 3/8" grosgrain ribbon with Silver Hodgepodge Hardware ribbon slide.Gold brads used for buttons.
My one little tip that I learned while assembling this is to not fold it closed until you are all done. Mine kept wanting to collapse inward before I had the strips adhered properly because I scored it and folded it closed and made it lay flat before completing the whole project. I'm happy with this, my first attempt, but know my following ones will be better and neater. Practice, practice...
