So Grateful

Inspired by Wedgewood china, I made this card using all Stampin' Up supplies. New Apothcary Art set with Baja Breeze (my current favorite) and Not Quite Navy cardstocks. The designer paper is a mix of old and new SU: base is a Christmas paper with some Beau Chateau and Domestic Goddess. I need to start thinking of flatter cards without a lot of embellishing since postage rates are going up again on the 22nd.

Belli Challenge- Texture

Our Creative Belli Challenge for Wednesday July 8 is to use texture on your card. Flocking, Flower Soft, Mesh... I used red flocking on the new Wings Of Friendship bird, all supplies are Stampin' Up, some retired. Please join us for this challenge and post to the Belli thread using code CBC69 so we can check out your creation.

Monochrome Medallion

New SU in the house!
This big beautiful background stamp was the first thing I gasped at when I saw the new catalog. It's awesome!! I don't think you have to do a lot to make this look fabulous. I stamped this in Rich Razzleberry on the Cottage Wall designer Series Paper. Stamped flower from Greenhouse Gardens in Pale and Perfect Plums and added rhinestone flower center.

Autumn Days

I was so excited to be asked to be July's Wicked Stamper in the Demo forum at Splitcoast. I posted some challenges there so if you are a demo I hope you will join in and post your creations. I would love to see what you make. I will share this one here, it is a sketch challenge using the new SU Autumn Days, new textured cardstock and Autumn Harvest rub ons, polka dot grosgrain ribbon.
This is my "go to" layout that is a pretty easy one and offers the
opportunity to use some of the designer series paper. The measurements for an A2 card (4 1/4" x 5 1/2") are 2 3/4" x 4" for main image, Designer Series Paper 3 1/4" square, 3 1/2" x 5 1/2" for panel directly on card base. You can add matting to each layer if desired.

This second card is for today's SCS sketch challenge. I was determined to use my Color Coach that has so long been neglected. I closed my eyes, gave it a spin and went with the color combination it landed on which was Close to Cocoa, Pixie Pink (yuk), Sage Shadow, and Barely Banana. Whisper White used for base. Circle Circus set new today from SU stamp set with brads.

New Stampin' Up Lovely Flowers

This is one of the new Level 3 hostess sets available in July from Stampin' Up. The designer paper comes with the 4 piece stamp set and also a package of rub ons.
I stamped and cut out 3 of the flowers in Melon Mambo, sponged edges to darken, and crumpled and layered. Added Dazzling Diamonds to center. SU is now carrying the In Colors in matching markers. Yay!!! I added Melon Mambo dots all around edges of main image panel. Oval All set in mew marker colors was used for the sentiment tag.
