Winter Wonderland

More Virtual Stamp weekend samples.
The first card uses Poppy Parade, Chocolate Chip, and Very Vanilla cardstocks. I stamped the sheet music from MFP in chocolate and then the Pines and Poinsettias from SU in Real Red craft. Large poinsettia is from the Spellbinders Nestabilities set. Added chocolate satin ribbon and sentiment label (Beautiful Season).
The second card uses the frosted technique, which is a first for me. Not sure I like the result, I'll have to try this a few more times with different color inks. This one uses Fabulous Florets in Ruby and Garden Green sten stamped over in white craft and schmeared ink. Tulips frame embossing folder for edges.

Garden Silhouettes

I used Kraft and Whisper White cardstocks, Garden Silhouettes and Fabulous Florets stamp sets, and Nestabilities frame and poinsettia dies. This card was for the Queen For The Day challenge at SCS honoring a card by Joan Ervin. I do have the exact leaf dies that Joan used but I'll be darned if I can find them. Time to clean up the stamp room!

Note Tote

Just playing around with the new Fabulous Florets set and 2 of the new colors~ Pool Party which is similar to the Cool Caribbean and Island Indigo. I don't have the inks yet so I used Not Quite Navy and Night Of Navy with Wild Wasabi. Finished size is a 3"x3" notecard with tote from the Splitcoast Resources section. Sentiments are from the Occasional Quotes set.

Fabulous Florets

I love today's sweet sketch over at SCS and will be using it a lot! I used Whisper White for the base with Wild Wasabi edged with scallop border punch for strips. Beyond the Garden designer paper and Fabulous Florets set in Pink Pirouette, edges inked in Pretty In Pink. Both the stamp set and the paper that are now in the Summer mini will be in the new catalog. Yes! Sizzix butterfly die also used. Stem was clear embossed on card and then the flower curled and mounted on top. All supplies are Stampin' Up.
