Fresh Vintage stamp set with Everyday Elegance paper, Calypso Coral card base. Hand stitched the edges with crochet thread.

I was so happy and surpised to see a free issue of the new Spring 2012 Take Ten magazine in my mailbox today. I sent some cards in a long time ago and really wasn't expecting this but am honored just the same. It's a whole page too! (page 57) Very exciting :)

Going Green

For Tuesday's SCS color challenge, I used Stampin' Up' cardstocks and designer paper, River Rock ribbon and the Snoopy and Woodstock image from Stampendous. Shamrock and sentiment are from My Sentiments Exactly.
Woodstock is going green for St. Patrick's Day!

Hello, Doily

Hello Doily embossed in white on Pale Plum, shaded with Perfect Plum ink, butterfly is from Memory Box. I cut a plum backing for it by hand. Sentiment is from Everyday Elegance. A case of Janic Melton, today's Featured Stamper on SCS.

It's Your Birthday

Artful INKables stamp set with SU pattern packs papers, It's Your Birthday sentiment on a Crumb Cake base. In honor of the SCS Queen for the day Pat (kokirose).

Guess Whoo

I could not resist this Hero Arts owl with the big ole eyes. I added some large clear buttons to them. Everything else is Stampin' Up: Crumb Cake cardstock and ribbon, Soft Suede matting and pinking hearts punch, Owl Together Now stamp set for sentiment, Attic Boutique and Elegant Soiree papers.

Happiest Thoughts

I am the hostess for the color challenge at Splitcoast this week and chose my current favorite combination of Basic Gray, Pretty In Pink, and Pink Pirouette. All supplies are Stampin' Up: Fifth Avenue Floral and coordinating embossing folder on Shimmer White cardstock with Smooch Spritz color wash. Hope you can play along, just use the closest color you have if you don't have these exactly! Going Gray is even prettier with the pinks if you have any of that stored away ;)

Mixed Bunch

New Mixed Bunch stamp set and punch, Domestic Goddess paper with some old retired brown paper (can't remember the name, Parisian something or other), Tim Holtz rosette die dor scallop border and flower.

Bella Toile

Working on two challenges with this card today. The first is to honor our Lydia at Splitcoast as Queen for the Day. I chose a card of hers to case using this favorite SU stamp of mine, Bella Toile. I stamped it in chocolate craft ink onto the Crumb Cake cardstock. (Regular classic ink just doen't seem to show up as well for this). Stamped the same image in Soft Suede ink onto Whisper White and then ran it through the Big Shot using the Bigz scallop envelope die for the envelope challenge. Sentiment is from You Are Loved with some added cherry cobbler seam binding ribbon to embellish.

Love Rocks!

I saw this idea on the internet somewhere recently but I didn't pin it so I am not sure where exactly it originated. I thought it was a cute, quick valentine treat. The hardest thing was finding the Pop Rocks!

Happy Valentime's Day

For the Clean and simple sketch on SCS. I used Stampin' Up's Take it to Heart with the Victorine Originals wings that were embossed in iridescent sparkly powder (hard to see but very, very pretty), with a bit of pink color markered in.

Stampin' Up: Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, and Crumb Cake are this week's challenge colors at SCS. New SAB Fresh Vintage stamp set on butterfly wings die, crumb cake seam binding ribbon and antique brad to embellish.

Embossed Tri-fold

An embossed tri-fold card using the stamp of the month from Impression Obsession, I adapted this from the sample card at the Impress store. Inside birthday sentiment is from SU's On Your Birthday set in Real Red. Old Olive and Whisper White cardstocks and half pearls.

Everybunny

All supplies are Stampin' Up: Everybunny stamp set, Daffodil and white cardstocks, embossing folder and new doily die, white taffeta ribbon.

Nature's Postage

The stamp set is an older one from Mark's Finest Papers called Nature's Postage, colored in markers. Attic Boutique paper with So Saffron and Black cardstocks, daffodil taffeta ribbon.

Chocolate Bunny and Egg

Embossed Leaves a la Carte jumbo wheel in white on Chocolate Chip oval for "egg", bunny on Caramel in chocolate craft ink and clear powder. Sentiment and Cuttlebug folder are non SU.

Flirtatious fan fold flower

A clean and simple design to show off the fan fold flower. Flirtatious designer paper and antique brad by Stampin' Up on a Wisteria base. The embossed white background piece was rescued from an old Hallmark card and the awesome rosette die is from Tim Holtz. Saves a lot of time from scoring and folding yourself.

I love this spring Everybunny set that I just got from SU. Flirtatious paper on a Melon Mambo base.

Nautical challenge

I made this for the Operation Write Home Blog Hop (going on right now) for the nautical theme challenge.
All supplies are Stampin' Up: The Open Sea stamp set in Suede ink with Nautical Expedition paper on a Sahara Sand base. Espresso baker's twine and jumbo eyelets. Sentiment is from Create a Cupcake.

Gnome Sweet Gnome

Stampin' Up supplies: Gnome Sweet Gnome stamp set colored in markers. For the bouquet, I stamped the flower cluster back to back to connect and filled in any open areas with black markers to make complete flowers. Attic Boutique paper with Poppy, White, and Suede cardstocks. Misc.: oval and scallop border punches, stripes embossing folder.

Floral Fillers

All supplies are Stampin' Up. Very Vanilla and So Saffron cardstocks, Vintage Wallpaper embossing folder, heart border and heart punches, Floral Fillers stamp set.
