Little Round Card
I made a round card with the Sizzix large scallop circle by SU (all supplies are Stampin' Up). Base is Marina Mist with Certainly Celery and Rose Red. Very little stamping was done for this card aside from the Perfect Punches sentiment. Hand rolled a rose and added a pearl center and dazzling diamonds. Paper is Springtime Vintage.

Speedy's Friends Food Challenge
This will be my last post for the Speedy's Friends Blog Team challenges. Thanks Faith and Vicki for having me on board for all of this time, I had a blast! I'll continue to play along in the challenges of course :)
This week it was my turn to hostess and the challenge is to use something food related on your card. My paper has a woman baking and I used the stack of teacups from the Floral Tea set, cut out and glazed with Crystal Effects and Dazzling Diamonds and then popped out on dimensionals. Hope you can play along with us and upload your card to the Speedy's Friends blog.
Virtual Stamp Weekend
It is Virtual Stamp Night over on SCS! I don't know how many of the challenges I will get to, it's hard to stamp on the weekends with all we have going on lately.
This was a sketch, four panels and a sentiment bar. Stampin' Up: Flowers Of Gratitude stamp set, Beachfront rick rack, Adornments rose, River Rock, Whisper White, and Artichoke cardstocks. Embossed paper is by Carol Wilson Fine Arts. Copic markers to color.
Cheery Cherry Blossoms
All supplies used were Stampin' Up. Thinking spring may be coming at some point, just not sure when. I have to go and scrape all of the snow off of my car before I hit the road for my errands, sigh...
Based this card on a featured stamper at SCS today, my sweet and supportive friend, Karen (aka Red Bug Driver). I love pink and celery green together, so lovely for a soft and springy card. Enjoy your weekend, hope it is warm and sunny for you wherever you may be.

Spring Showers & Flowers
I loved the rubber boots on this paper by 3 Bugs In a Rug called April Showers- Rain Boots. It reminded me of the Green Thumb set by Papertrey Ink so I used those images to create my spring showers card. The Papertrey Make It Monday challenge was to use Scor Tape and glitter. I used Pink Diamond Dust glitter on the strip between the two papers.

Polka Dot Tea
A blend of challenges were used to create today's card. Our Speedy's Friends Challenge at Mark's Finest Papers called for using black, white, and one other color. I chose red of course since this makes my favorite color combo. I used the Floral Tea set by MFP with SU papers, the Pals Paper Arts #81 sketch, and today's inspiration challenge at SCS for the graphic art wall tattoos.

Valentine Bouquet
A sweet treat for a special someone, a little bit of filler and a lot of chocolates! I used the new Big Shot Fun Flowers Sizzix die to create the lollipop flowers in Cherry Cobbler, Riding Hood Red, and Pink Pirouette. A heart treat cup filled with M&M's and the Stampin' Up set Sweetheart. Designer paper is SU also, not sure of name or date since it was loose and in a pile. Hope you can join our Three Amigas challenge to make a valentine treat for someone in your life. We could all use a bit of chocolate to get through the dreary winter days :)

Three Amigas Virtual Playdate
My friends Sharon, Julie, and I are getting together for a virtual playdate since our schedules have been too crazy for the real thing.
Julie has challenged us to make a valentine with NO red or pink.
Sharon has challenged us to create a card using only the neutral color family.
I will get the rest of my samples in some time today, click on their names to check out my amigas creations!
This card uses Always Elegant set, Elegant Soiree paper and antique brads. I didn't even realize when I was making it how similar it is to Julie's card, I was so anxious to use my new SAB set with the SCS sketch!

MFP Blog Hop Big Cats
My Big Cats sample uses the magnificent tiger image colored in Copic markers and highlighted with a white gel pen. I embossed the Aged Sunflower cardstock in copper with an old primitive prints wheel that I had, mounted it to Crisp Copper Kettle and Deepest Mahogany cardstocks, finished with some cording.

Easter Blossoms
For today's color challenge of Not Quite Navy, Cajun Craze and Daffodil Delight. I stamped the blossoms in Cajun and colored in with the daffodil and ran through the Big Shot using the Blossom Petals folder. Added my own version of the dessert option stitched wide grosgrain which I don't have any of. Instead I used yellow satin ribbon (Mark's Finest Papers) and thin white organdy ribbon as the stitching or stripes.

Blog Hop!! Greet The Day With Gerber
For todays set of Greet The Day With Gerber I made two samples to show the wonderful vesatility of these lovely flowers that are perfect for year round use and all occasions. The first daisy image was stamped in a moss green and lightly colored with Prismacolor pencils. Stamped the sentiment in black over this. The daisy image was stamped on the cardstock repeatedly in a similar shade ink, added white organdy ribbon from MFP.
My second card uses the Snow Storm white base, a Nestabilities frame and the single Gerber daisy image colored in various colors of Copic markers. The brad in the middle is from the center of the daisy stamped in brown and colored in yellow.

Hello Sunshine stamp set by Mark's Finest Papers colored in Copic markers with today's color challenge of Poppy (image stamped in scallops), Daffodil Delight (card base), and Peach Parfait (I had to sub orange for the peach).
I'm sure it's sunny somewhere today!

Vintage Valentines
Handmade Flowers
Our Speedy's Friends challenge at Mark's Finest Papers this week is to make a card with some hand/homemade flowers. Easy enough. I made mine with some SU punches and pearl centers and used the new sneak peek set from MFP called Spring Has Sprung.
Blue Bird with Blossoms
I used the new Occassions mini sets Nature Walk for the bird and Easter Blessings for the blossom branch. The bird was stamped in chocolate and then colored in with watercolor crayons. It's been so long since I've used those! Cardstock colors: Naturals White, Chocolate and Bashful Blue. Antique brad and Lattice Square embossing folder, blue marker, and white gel pen also used.
