Book Lover

It is Virtual Stamp Night/Weekend over at Split Coast Stampers and the theme is Staycation for those of us not traveling. The Pacific Northwest in the summer can't be beat so we usually hang around. Mostly.
I can't get enough of this sweet Stampin' Up! set Hand Delivered. The theme was books so it worked perfectly for this challenge. Paired it with Abstract Impressions dsp.

Another challenge was Grilling so I unearthed this older Memory Box set and unknown paper.

Hand Delivered

Stampin' Up! only. This was made for the color challenge at Splitcoast, I am a guest sample maker for July. The colors chosen are Balmy Blue, Powder Pink, and Highland Heather, with the option of making your own designer paper. I used the little flower cluster from this set and colored in today's colors. This is a fun, versatile set. A stack of books and a sign change things up for different occasions and the sentiments are really sweet.

Season of Friendship

I love this retired Stampin' Up! Season of Friendship set because of this tree, it's one that I will keep. Stamped in caramel ink on Whisper White, Acrylic chalk paints in cream and pale pink were dabbed on with Q-tips. Made it into a shaker with the "blossoms" that fell from the tree. Card base is Pink Pirouette.

New Stampin' Up! Healing Hugs set in Blushing Bride and Coral, Mint Macaron and Celery for the stamping.

Deeply In Love

A card for my wonderful husband using the new Lawn Fawn You Are Sublime set with matching dies. For the Lawn Fawnatics challenge this week of cards for guys, and also for the Simon Says Stamp weddings or anniversary, which is what I will use this for.

Hero Arts seashore die and bubbles embossing folder on Marina Mist card stock, inked edges, bordered with Cherry Cobbler and Whisper White. Helmet was done using clear Nuvo enamel drops for gloss and then added some Dazzling Diamonds glitter.

Jar of Penguins

For the Merry Monday Christmas challenge to use penguins and for today's "Baby, It's Cold Outside" challenge at SCS.
Homemade snow globe ornament using Lawn Fawn "Here We Go A-Waddling" penguin set with stitched hilltop dies and fake snow. The ornament jar was from Ben Franklin Craft store, filled with fake snow.
