Peace For Christmas

  I really love this 3D embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp that is called Little Village. Such a pretty scene, I embossed on black card stock, added some white craft ink,  glitter gel glue, and shimmer spray to highlight the night. Peace die cut is by Stampin' Up!

Another fun challenge theme at Simon Says Stamp of Party Time! I used this really cute set from Gina K called A Very Silly Season. Added a die cut sentiment to highlight the verse.

Merry Mermaids! Lawn Fawn Mermaid For You, Stampin' Up! Waves Of The Ocean designer paper (now in the Clearance section at Stampin' Up!). Really love this paper for a quick background.

Tag

 

For Simon Says Stamp's Monday challenge theme of Gift Tags I used the Stamptember collaboration set of Pink and Main and Simon. These little marshmallows are the cutest! For the background of the tag I used Simon's Triangle Burst 3D embossing folder which is my favorite! It looks so cool on the starry holograph paper that I had on hand in my paper collection. The snowy ground is white glitter card stock and I love that it is so smooth and you can stamp or write on it (I will be using a black Sharpie to address the tags).

Chilly and Freezy

Time for another challenge at Simon Says Stamp, this one is to add some sparkle!

I used the Simon and Tim Holtz collaboration dies "Chilly and Freezy"  available with a $25 or more purchase of Tim Holtz products. Love this pair of snowpeople! My sparkle comes from the white glitter card stock and tree die cut covered with Nuvo gilding flakes of gold, silver, and copper. The background was done with the shaving cream technique so the card smells nice too!

Christmas Cookies

For the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge of "Holiday Cheer"!

Frosted gingerbread cookies! I used Lawn Fawn unicorn glitter embossing powder on the Simon Says Stamp "Christmas Cookies" and the Sizzix Tim Holtz cutting dies that have the same name.

Pinecones

This is for Wednesday's Simon Says Stamp "Anything Goes" challenge.
 One of my all-time favorite background stamps for winter and Christmas cards. the Pinecone Background stamp by Simon Says Stamp. The Tidings Of Cheer die is a part of te awesome Limited Edition Holiday 2022 card kit.  The pinecone charms are from Stampin' Up! The image was embossed in gold and colored with Tombow brush markers.

Snowflake Season

 A great use of the Misti stamp positioner! All arethe same design on various colors of card stocks with either silver or gold embossing and snowflake die cuts. The card stocks are Stampin' Up, everything else is Simon Says Stamp (except the silver pearls).

Freezing Cold

Time for a new Monday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp! This lovely photo is our inspiration for this week and we can't wait to see your take on it! One lucky winner will receive a $25 gift voucher to the Simon Says Stamp store.

For my card I used the Blossom Field embossing folder and the Spellbinders Winter Welcome Sled dies. The background was done with Strathmore watercolor paper , Perfect Pearls Blue Hydrangea paint wash, Stickles Star Dust and Waterfall glitter glues to accent. Nuvo Apple Green Crystal Drops  for center of poinsettia. For the flower and greenery I used White Glitter card stock and colored it with various Copic markers.

For my Fun With Foil card I used the Flourishing Bloom Plate wafer die with glimmer foil. I added the Beautiful sentiment die and the Layered Hummingbird die that was popped up on an action wobble. The gold matting and strip for the die cut are by Concord & 9th.

Thanks Thanksgiving

 

It is time for another Monday challenge at Simon Says Stamp! Today our theme is Thanks or Thanksgiving. We are all so looking forward to seeing what you create for this season of thanks. One lucky winner will receive a $25.00 gift voucher to the Simon Says Stamp Store.

For my Thanksgiving card I used the Sunflower Fields stamp set from Simon Says Stamp. So much fun to color with the Tombow Dual Brush markers on Strathmore Watercolor paper.  I inked the distressed edges with Old Paper and Vintage Photo distress inks from Tim Holtz.

Dyan Reaveley

 I am making some art journal pages featuring the Ranger Dylusions line from Dyan Reaveley for the Monday Simon Says Challenge as a guest designer for November. Yay!!

I love Dyan's vibrant, fun artwork! This page uses After Midnight ink spray and it is such a gorgeous, rich deep blue/royal purple blend that I am in love with. The "Puddy Cat" stamp set was used here along with "Leaf Me Be" and the Dyalog "Doodle It" stencil for the flowers. All products available over at the Simon Says Stamp store.

This page features "Night At The Opera" stamp set along with the large "Quilt" stencil.

Daisy Days

 Pretty new 3D embossing folder included in the Simon Says Stamp October card kit. Not sure who the designer paper is from. Highlighted with some craft inks and white gel pen to color.

Halloween Rosettes

 For Simon Says Stamp's Monday challenge for home decor. These Halloween pumpkin and cat rosettes will be hung up in the windows. I didn't get much of a chance to decorate this year since we went on vacation. May do a few pumpkins but the major outdoor stuff is out this year since it has not stopped raining for long since we've been back.

Batty For You

 Mostly a copy of the idea sheet in the Hero Arts Halloween card kit with a few minor changes. I added Nuvo glow in the dark drops to the card sides and the cat eyes. 

Smoky Cauldron

 Another with the same colors of distress oxide inks for the background.

Hero Arts Halloween kit comes with the stamps and dies. I added some cotton for the smoke and a sentiment strip from Simon Says Stamp.

Fly With Me

all supplies are from Simon Says Stamp with the exception of the Tim Holtz distres oxide ink colors of Black Soot, Villainous Potion, Barn Door, and Mustard Seed.

Background was done by blending the mentioned colors and then using the CZ Design batty stencil with Stickles glitter gel. The gnome is from the Stamptember collaboration with Brutus Monroe and the sentiment strip is from this year's SSS collection. They were out of the black with the white lettering but the white lets you customize the color to coordinate with your design.
 

Retro Halloween

 I love these Retro Halloween dies by Tim Holtz, the paper is by him as well.

Washi Pumpkin

 The Wednesday challenge at Simon Says Stamp is to use washi tape. I used this Halloween assortment of tapes and then cut it out with a Spellbinders pumpkin die. Burlap ribbon to embellish and the paper is Heartwarming Vintage by Crafty Secrets.

Spooky Gnome

 Glimmer spritz and Brushos crystals were made to created the background and then a trees stencil and Prize Ribbon distress oxide ink. Brutus Monroe Seasonal Gnomes collab with Simon Says Stamp for Stamptember stamp set.

Eyes For You

 Eye stamp by Inkadinkado "Test Tubes" done with repeat stamping to create the background, little monster from Lawn Fawn.

Spooky Shaker

 This edge to edge shaker card was made using Sizzix die by Tim Holtz- Ghost Town 2. The background was alcohol inks in various colors. For the acetate shaker part I actually used a roll that is made for cake collars, found in the baking department and very inexpensive.

Bulk Batch

 I don't usually do multiples of one card design but I really liked this design, it is cute and easy to do. One sheet of 12" x 12" designer paper will make dozens of cards if you cut the strips at 1". New Stamptember Gina K set for sentiments and Craft Consortium "Made By Elves" paper.

Here For The Boos!

 Another with the background stamp "Halloween Scene" from Hero Arts on glossy paper and alcohol inks. The sentiment die is from Simon Says Stamp.

Matching Envelope

 There is something fun and just a little bit special with a matching envelope and the inside of a card that is decorated as well. The kids all love getting Halloween cards (and candy) so I am starting a bit early this year. Background is Hero Arts Halloween Scene embossed in white with a haunted house (Not sure who made this one), and Boo! sentiment from Simon Says Stamp.

QE 2

 Another simpler version, this time in silver and without the jewels, flat for mailing.
