Seed Packet
The challenge at SCS today is to use seeds as a theme. I had this old unmarked seed packet background stamp that I used for a shaker, filled with brown microbeads. The sweet pea bouquet and other sentiments are by Hero Arts.
Planted some seed starts this week of herbs and veggies in case we are still stuck at home for a while. Flowers are secondary this year.
Cottontail
Another Easter card using the Simon Says Stamp Cottontail Wishes set. Martha Stewart grass punch used for bottom. Embossed sentiment in white detail powder.

Have Courage
Today's challenge over at the Simon Says Stamp blog is Anything Goes using Gina K products if you have them. I chose the "Wild At Heart" set and thought this sentiment was so moving in light of what we are all going through right now.
I used one of my panels that I have a box of from one of my distress oxide inks and alcohol inks sessions where I made so many A2 sized backgrounds to have on hand. I loved the various colors in this one. I embossed the stamp in Versamark and SU Glassy Glaze. Stamped sentiment on black card stock with white detail powder and cut with SU Sweetly Stitched frame die.

Neon Pop Egg
Easy styrofoam egg with the Stampin' Up! 3 flower punch. Punched a ton of these from Green Galore, Pixie Pink, Only Orange, and Yoyo Yellow, all retired SU colors. Using the little foam piercing mat I pushed down in the very center of each with this old embossing tool to curve the petals up. Remember the old days when we would actually emboss by hand with stencils and styluses?
Make sure that you use the flat end of the stylus to push all of the pins into the egg or your fingertips will be super sore.

Happy Spring!
It's official, Spring is finally here! Yay, what a gorgeous day. It felt more like summer but let's not rush things. This flat easy to mail card uses Stampin' Up! card stocks of Whisper White, Barely Banana, and Green Galore. Seems like the neon shades are coming back so I'm glad I kept them.
For the Stencil challenge at SSS using their Simon Says Stamp Bunny Butt set with the Daisy Bouquet stencil.

Neon, baby!
Love the new Electro-pop neon glitz gels from Rina K in these awesome psychedelic 60's colors. The gel is just filled with sparkle. I used Poppin' Pink, Hello Yellow, and Orange Glow on this card with the Simon Says Stamp Daisy Bouquet stencil. I have Stampin' Up! stamp cases filled with various sentiments and it is so easy to just reach in and grab one. The birthday greeting is by Stampin' Up!, I'm sure of that much.
This is for the Monday Simon Says Stamp challenge of using a stencil.

Bunny Butt
I couldn't resist picking up this fun Easter set from Simon Says Stamp. There is the back of the bunny on the other side of the acetate window and I think there will be lots of cute options with this one. Great for young and old, I think!

Flower Power
So many challenges combined for this card! Johanna Basford was kind to post this free download, colored it with Prismacolor pencils. Had to take numerous breaks because it took hours to color and have to mind my neck and wrist some.
Have a happy and healthy weekend. Stay in and craft if you can!

Coloring Challenge Day 6
I'm a little behind with the 30 Day Coloring Challenge but I guess that's better than being a big behind hahaha. For this one layer card I use the Cam & Chloe stamp by Hampton Arts, colored with Copic Markers and Prismacolor pencils. Toward the end I had a green marker let loose a large pool of ink right underneath the large mushroom. I tried to touch it up with a white gel pen marker and then went over it with some more marker. Painted her wings with Lawn Fawn Liquid Stardust (which is a totally awesome must have).

Gift Tag Cards
I love having some of these gift tags on hand to attach to a present. I had some mini envelopes in my stash and just cut the white card stock to fit. (3/12" x 4 1/2" folded).

Tissue paper technique
For the Virtual Stamping mini challenge at Splitcoast to use the tissue paper and water technique for the background. Using cocoa and sage inks on tissue, sprayed with glimmer spray. Added Stampin' Up! rose that was colored on shimmer paper and cut out. Added a gold crackle leaf from my stash and some gold Nuvo dream drops to embellish. Sage shadow embossed with 3D lace folder by SU.
White Lily
We went to the Northwest Flower and Garden show in Seattle this weekend and I got so much inspiration from their displays, for both cards and my garden. This card uses The Greetery Easter and Frond Collection on an older Hero Arts background called Misty Garden.
