Crazy Birds
Finally getting to use the Tim Holtz Crazy Birds set that I got many months ago. This shy little guy is my favorite in the set! Simple design with the Hero Arts sentiment from the layering birds set. Colored image in alcohol ink markers.

Loved You Are
Hero Arts background and sentiment stamps with Stampin' Up!'s Punch Potpourri flowers. Inks: Marina Mist, Soft Sky, Wild Wasabi over white heat embossed background swirl.
Magical and Mystical
Found this old Stampin' Up! Magical & Mystical set recently at a local thrift store, colored in markers and added Dazzling Diamonds to wings. Made a watercolor wash with salt sprinkled on while it was still wet for night sky background. (Mijello Gold Mission watercolor paints).
Go With The Flow
Experimenting with a watercolor wash, used cobalt and cerulean blues with a bit of sap green for water, orange and burnt sienna for seahorse on watercolor paper. Other supplies are Sizzix Sand & Sea die with new Hero Arts sea collection from the kit of the month for July. Love this, they really put together the perfect summer selection.

Sea Creatures
For today's Mojo Monday sketch I went with Stampin' Up!'s Perfectly Artistic designer paper, Hero Arts stamp set with sequins and a little sand dollar that I made with some Sculpey clay and a mold to embellish. I really like this paper, it reminds me of water or the shaving cream technique that was popular a while back- same kind of effect.

First go at Watercolors
Took my first watercolor class last night and this was the first project- a shell inside and out, using only two colors which were Burnt Sienna and Payne's Gray. I am really looking forward to incorporating some watercoloring technique on my cards. I think like any thing else it just takes practice, practice, practice.

Splatter Rainbow Hello
Since I already had the Stampin' Up! So Sweet Of You set sitting out, I thought I'd give it another use. Not sure what the name of the splatter wheel is, the tag was missing. Rolled it in the colors of the rainbow, embossed Hello There in black, added a die cut butterfly. Easy as can be and flat for mailing.

Chalkboard Hello
I purchased this Stampin' Up! chalkboard paper about a year ago and am finally getting around to playing around with it. Stamp sets used were Flower Patch and So Sweet Of You (retired hostess) with ColorBox pigment inks. Added flower center accents with white gel pen.
