Itty Bitty Banners

Since I had the Sweet Shop paper out on the desk, I took my inspiration from the heart pattern on this one paper sheet and used the Heart embosslits die in Marina Mist, Olive, and Wisteria with sentiment in matching inks.

Cycle Celebratin

Working on my next shipment of cards to Operation Write Home, I will be concentrating on birthday cards and some cards for kids.  All supplies used were Stampin' Up! Cycle Celebration stamp set with Sweet Shop paper (retired) and the new In Color paper in Baked Brown Sugar.

Morning Meadow

Still playing around with the Morning Meadow, Flower Shop stamp sets and pansy punch. Also used So Saffron White, and Espresso cardstocks, new washi tape, Rose red taffeta ribbon and baker's twine. This was inspired by an old mini catalog sample from SU 2009. Made a lot of changes to it though.

Flower Shop Meadow

Whisper White card base with Tulip Frame embossing folder. The Morning Meadow branch was embossed in white, sponged in Strawberry Slush ink that I faded in to Pink Pirouette. Flower Shop pansies embossed in white on vellum and punched out with pansy punch.

Natural Composition Butterfly

All supplies are Stampin' Up! Natural Composition specialty paper wood grain pattern with Espresso and Crumb Cake cardstocks. Swallowtail butterfly was embossed in espresso powder and colored with Curry, Tangerine, and Real Red markers. Natural wood buttons with espresso baker's twine to embellish. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Banners with word window label punch.

Cantaloupe Circle

For Mojo Monday 299 sketch I used all Stampin' Up! supplies of Crisp Cantaloupe, Whisper White cardstocks, Vanilla taffeta ribbon, new In Color paper stack, Bigz Scallop Circle die, and Wildflower Meadow and Itty Bitty Banners stamp sets in matching ink.

Thank you all for your condolences. Your kind words are really a comfort to me during this very difficult time and very much appreciated.

This card uses Baked Brown Sugar cardstock stamped with Basic Gray ink using the Ex Libris background stamp with the Very Vintage jumbo wheel over top of this in Illuminate ink. Sentiment and inside label flourish are from the new Morning Meadow hostess set.

Elwood Walter Kipe 1929-2013

I am totally heartbroken to lose my Dad today. He was truly one of a kind and I pray that he is at peace and happy in Heaven with my Mom.

Bows!

I usually just make these handmade bows at Christmas time but thought it would be great to have some on hand for other occasions. I love the polka dot pattern on the new In Color paper stack and used the Pistachio, Strawberry, and Coastal Cabana colors for these. There are lots of tutorials on the web for bows if you search on Google or Bing, I hope to try out a few more!

Apothecary Romance

Stampin' Up! supplies: Apothecary Art stamps and framelits, Lovely Romance background, wallpaper embossing folder, Daffodil taffeta ribbon on a Coastal Cabana base with Bermuda Bay accent.

Flower Shop

All supplies are Stampin' Up!: New Flower Shop stamp set with pansy punch, In Color paper stack in Pistachio with matching cardstock, matted with Very Vanilla that was edged with scallop border punch, sentiment from Cycle Celebration in Wasabi, 7/8" Natural ribbon and retired naturals brads. I don't have much in the way of the new embellishments, papers, and ribbons quite yet, I'll have to pace myself a bit on the new catalog :)

Lovely Romance vintage style

All supplies are Stampin' Up! Crumb Cake base with Lovely Romance stamped in Soft Suede and Razzleberry. Card was wheeled in Crumb Cake with the Very Vintage jumbo wheel, edges inked in Wisteria. Chalk Talk frame in Razzleberry with the Postage Collection wreath on inside of circle. Clay mold rose in Perfect Plum inker and watercolor brush. Taffeta ribbon to finish.

One Sheet Dozen

Using one sheet of 12" x 12" Sweet Shop designer paper I made 12 different birthday cards of various designs with a mixture of stamp sets. (Cycle Celebration, Celebrate Everything, Birthday Bakery, and Sweets for the Sweet stamp sets.) The one card with the three tags is a case from SCS by HMKat. All of the paper strips were cut into 5" x 2" strips for a total of 12.

Chalk Talk

New Chalk Talk bundle (stamp set and framelits) stamped in Versamark and embossed in white on Pink Pirouette cardstock, inked with Strawberry Slush. In Color paper stack Pistachio Pudding with Mosaic embossed panel in Pink with Soft Subtles candy dots and Whisper White taffeta ribbon to embellish. Sketch is MFTWSC128

Dapper Dad Vest

Bow ties are cool! I used the Dapper Dad tie with a vest that was cut from Bashful Blue cardstock and stamped with the retired Stripes backgrounder. Red buttons added along with a piece of silver chain I had in my extensive stash o' crap. The little pockets are just strips of white popped up on dimensionals. For Father's Day!

Baked Brown Sugar

Baked Brown Sugar cardstock and In Color Paper Pack on a Whisper White base. Papaya Collage bird with brocade image from Lovely Romance and sentiment from Simply Sketched in Soft Suede. Whisper White taffeta ribbon for bow.

Post Card

This is the new SU background stamp Post Card. I embossed it in Early Espresso on Glossy White that was brayered in Banana, Marigold, and edged with Pumpkin inks. I stamped the Lovely Romance brocade image in (stamped off once) Cantaloupe, French Foliage script in Baked Brown Sugar, birthday sentiment from Bring On The Cake in Espresso. I love the way this came out and it is flat for easy mailing.

Lovely Romance

One of my favorite new Stampin' Up sets is the Lovely Romance that also works with the framelits dies, the brocade images are so pretty. I did a monochromatic card using a Crumb Cake base, images were stamped in Baked Brown Sugar and Crumb Cake and then run through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper folder. Espresso baker's twine and new In Color button to embellish. The dp is Attic Boutique which went with this pattern really well and I don't have much of the new paper yet.

Cycle Celebration

I just received my new order of Stampin' Up stuff and I don't know where to start. This card uses Whisper White and Strawberry Slush with the new In Color paper stack. Cycle Celebration stamp set for soda bottle and sentiment frame. White brads and clay flower to embellish. White scalloped frame is from a Spellbinders die ( not SU). This is also for this week's Operation Write Home's sketch challenge.

Vintage Vogue

I made this card with the now retired Vintage Vogue set, one of my favorites and a keeper. Whisper White base was stamped with dots background in Pool Party, flowers in Night Of Navy, Not Quite Navy. Four Frames in Night of Navy and Marina Mist with an old Tag set. Marina Mist brads and Swiss dots embossing folder also used.

Bella Mae Travis

Our sweet dog Bella passed on Tuesday and we will miss her so much. She has been my constant companion for the past 11 years and my stamping buddy, always by my side. We adopted her when Billy was just a little guy and they grew up together, like siblings. Bella brought so much joy to our lives and we will always keep her in our hearts and memories.

Amour

All Stampin' Up supplies: Bella Chateau paper (retired), Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, and Whisper White cardstocks. Artistic Etchings stamp set, Natural ribbon and rose to embellish. Heart matting piece is from the Artisan Embellishments kit.

Netflix inspired

Inspired by the Netflix envelope I made this quick card using Pleasant Poppies on Real Red, embossed in black. Kind Thanks for sentiment.

Fifth Avenue Floral

All supplies are Stampin' Up. Cardstocks of Brushed Silver, Pretty In Pink embossed with Manhattan Floral folder. Fifth Avenue Floral embossed in silver on Glossy White and colored with re-inkers Regal Rose and Pretty In Pink. Bird and Branch punch used for leaves.

You Are Loved Rosette

All Stampin' Up supplies: Baja Breeze and Whisper White cardstocks. Retired designer paper that I don't know name of used for the banner and rosette, but the Soft Suede strips were Attic Boutique. You Are Loved stamp set and Real Red 1/8" ribbon to embellish.

Dapper Dad watch

For this week's Mojo Monday sketch, I used some retired Stampin' Up designer paper, Dapper Dad watch embossed in silver with a metallic button and a rhinestone for face. Whisper White, Basic Gray and Black cardstocks.

Seashells

Another card for today with the By The Tide set. The card base is Baked Brown Sugar with matching ink and the retired seashells wheel for background. The sentiment is from Vintage Verses, embossed in Espresso. The sand dollar is from the retired Stipple Shells stamped on white SU clay. Ribbon is Chocolate Chip taffeta.

By The Tide

I am happy to see that this Stampin' Up set By The Tide made it into the main catalog. I used glossy white cardstock with turquoise, Coastal Cabana inks and sprayed it with Vanilla smooch spritz for luminescence. The fish and seahorse are popped out on dimensionals and all images were embossed in gold. I braided some white crochet thread together to embellish the side. Some day I will learn to do some nautical knots which I think would look very cool with this set. One more project to add to my to learn list! Card base is Tangerine Tango with Brushed Gold matting.
