A great way to use up that eye popping Summer Sun cardstock! I embossed it on black right on that and cut out. Edged with sponge of Poppy Parade ink. Coredinations cardstock with wood grain embossing folder for "tree". Sentiment from Create A Cupcake, swirly flourish from Kindness Matters.

Today was like a summer day so I didn't get the time indoors like I thought I would. Must take full advantage of any non rainy day here! The left card was done with Naturals White and the old two step roses set, made a pocket card with a bookmark and Best Blossoms set. The other card is Tropical Party by Stampin' Up with an additional Secret Garden flower for a bare spot :)
I spent the day yesterday working on some cards for Operation Write Home. I have boxes and boxes of stamped images, cardstock and designer paper scraps, and worked from those. I'll be working on this project all through the weekend provided my neck and wrist hold up okay, I've been having some pain with both. A lot of the supplies I used are Stampin' Up, the bees were from an image swap so I'm not sure who makes them, they sure are cheerful though!
Stampin' Up supplies of Real Red, Not Quite Navy, and Whisper White cardstocks with matching inks. Happiest Birthday Wishes for sentiment and Dapper Dad for bow tie. The background was the retired Houndstooth background stamp. Added some buttons from my sewing jar.
Love this stamp! I sponged the color onto this Swallowtail butterfly stamped image by SU, cut out and then adhered to Whisper White base that was stamped with Kindred Spirits (retired) in Old Olive and Hello, Doily in Celery. Sentiment is from Blooming With Kindness.
I always got the biggest kick out of this set and just recently purchased it on ebay. These bookmarks are a great way to use up scraps, the colors were Green Galore and Pink Passion. For the ferny tops I used Limeade 1/4" organdy ribbon. Bookmark die was purchased at Papertrey Ink.
Stampin' Up Blooming With Kindness stamp set in Pool Party and Poppy Parade with Sweet Shop paper, rosette made from matching paper and pewter build a brad. Calypso Coral 1/4" organdy ribbon was heated with heat gun to curl. I used the scallop edge mini embossing folder for the bottom part of the panel and my white brads were flattened in the process, I think it looks pretty cool though. Layout is Vive La Verve sketch from week 4.

Another decorated treat for my son's Easter basket. I used Stampin' Up's Everybunny stamp set, Celery and White cardstocks, and polka dot ribbon by May Arts, taffeta ribbon by SU. Store bought carrot filled with robin's egg bubble gum.

Stamp sets: Stppled Blossoms, Garden Collage for sentiment (retired), bird and branch punch, three flower punch in Vanilla with half pearls, Martha Stewart fern punch, velvet ribbon (also retired). Paper is Beau Chateau.

For this week's Mojo Monday 285 sketch, I used Stampin' Up supplies of By the Tide stamp set (Stipple Shells for corners), Cajun, Soft Suede, and Whisper White cardstocks, Beau Chateau dp, Natural ribbon from mini catalog, Espresso baker's twine to embellish.
A baker's dozen cupcake birthday cards using Sweet Shop paper, Pool Party, Real Red, Poppy Parade, and Whisper White cardstocks and various embellishments. Stampin' Up supplies except for brads and eyelets.
I had an abundance of these buttons after ordering 3 containers of them from the Clearance Rack at SU. So, on that note I wasn't afraid to go crazy with a row of them as embellishments :) The paper is a retired one from Stampin' Up that I don't know the name of (but I love the pink polka dots), the flower is from Secret Garden and the sentiment is from Blooming With Kindness. I tried to keep it simple with the Whisper White base and the pink and Baja blue colors.
For this week's Mojo Monday sketch, I used Stampin' Up's Happiest of Birthday Wishes for sentiment, the diamond was made using a Spellbinders Nestabilities diamond frame in Indigo, Calypso Coral, Summer Starfruit, Pool Party. Designer paper is Sycamore Street with Pool Party taffeta ribbon and antique brad.
These treat holders were such a hit last year, so I decided to make more. The bunny body is from the Sizzix snowman die, small oval punch for ears, Stampin' Up treat cups for belly, fill with M&M's.

All Stampin' Up supplies used to make this bookmark for a Dr. Who fan. Feeling Sentimental for the Tardis, the new Dapper Dad set bow tie, the new Stampin' Up photopolymer letter stamp set for the sentiment, and 1/8" narrow satin ribbon added.
Stampin' Up retired Tags set using the Easter bunny image, large and small tag punches, narrow satin ribbon and Hershey chocolate nuggets in spring colors. A quick and easy treat idea!

Most supplies are Stampin' Up. No stamps were used, this was all done with the Tea For Two paper in the current mini along with Not Quite Navy, Whisper White and Baja Breeze cardstocks. Spellbinders Nestabilities fleur de lis circle frame.
Daffodil from Secret Garden stamp in white and saffron, stem is from retired Terrific Tulips set. Cardstock base is Pumpkin and Olive with some retired SAB designer paper and half pearls to embellish. The triple ribbon treatment is the Old Olive satin, ruffled ribbon and Everyday Enchantment thin organdy in Limeade (retired).
Another Easter basket filler! I purchased the tulip pop bouquet at our local Fred Meyer grocery store and wound olive green satin ribbon around the stem to dress it up. Added a bookmark to match using the Stampin' Up retired sets of Terrific Tulips and Bloomin' Beautiful. Sizzix tags die is current. My goal this year is to have the prettiest Easter basket I've ever put together, which is why I'm starting work on it now :)
This is a cute and easy way to package up a little Easter treat. I came across this printable template pattern at artistshelpingchildren.org and couldn't resist trying it out. The grass was made using the Martha Stewart border punch in Gumball Green, edges of rabbit inked with Crumb Cake ink and cheeks were pinked with some chalk pastels. M&M's in a cello bag with 1/4" white stitched SU ribbon to tie.
I am working on more cards to send to Operation Write Home for the troops, concentrating this week on birthday cards. I used Stampin' Up supplies for all of these. Summer Starfruit and Rich Razzleberry cardstock and Secret garden stamp set with Vintage Verses sentiment for the first set. The second set is Carry On and Pennant Parade stamp sets on Wisteria Wonder and Pink Pirouette cardstocks, Sweet Shop specialty paper and white stitched ribbon.
Today's card features the In Color Summer Starfruit and Sycamore Street designer paper from the Sale-a-bration mini. I used the Madison Avenue stamp set and the Holiday Ornaments framelits die. Don't store these away because Christmas is over, these are wonderful shapes you can use for all occasion cards :) The rose ribbon embellishment is from the spring mini and is totally awesome! I am going to stock up on this stuff. Sentiment is Vintage Verses in Basic Gray ink.
