Love
I am wrapping up the last of my Valentines for Operation Write Home this morning. They are due by tomorrow but the collection point is just a few towns over so they should make it in time. This is an OWH sketch using Stampin' Up paper (retired), Rose Red and Pool Party cardstocks and a stamp by Rubber Stampede. Squares are 1" x 1".

Flat card
This card today uses all Stampin' Up! supplies and is nice and flat for easy mailing without having to use additional postage. Cardstocks of Whisper White and Melon Mambo, Elements of Style stamp set and washi tape. I embossed it with the lattice square folder and then ran it through the Big Shot again without the folder to flatten it some. Makes it look like a textured cardstock.
I hope everyone had a beautiful Christmas day yesterday. My only disappointment was the Doctor Who special that I've been waiting forever for, I won't spoil it in case you haven't seen it yet. :)
Have a lovely day, I am off to the Hallmark store to stock up on next year's wrapping paper!

Ornaments and tree
1. Some more handmade glitter ornaments and Martha Stewart pinecone boxes painted and glittered and turned into ornaments.
2. A picture of another one of our Christmas trees this year.
One more project for today! A 10" Styrofoam tree that I wound with garland and trimmed with "lights". So easy.

Sheet Music Ornaments
I have been so busy decorating! The first picture is an ornament made from vintage sheet music sheets and a large crystal bead. Rolled large and small scallops and glued to cardboard circle.
The second picture is the Stampin' Up! Christmas Star embossed in clear on the music, cut out and mounted to Basic Black for some stability. Will run a loop through to hang it.
The third is my bathroom tree with the Enesco Miss Merry Mouse ornaments.
The fourth is my kitchen gingerbread tree.
I'll be back tomorrow with something from the upcoming mini or Saleabration catalog to share.

Glittered Ornament
For this week's Mojo Monday sketch, I used Stampin' Up! retired designer paper and Basic Black and Very Vanilla cardstocks, Cherry Cobbler seam binding ribbon and silver cording. Ornament is by Our Daily Bread Designs cut out and colored, added Dazzling Diamonds to cover white areas and a Frosted Finishes SU embellishment.
Handmade bow
I made a handmade bow to dress up my purchased Costco wreath using wide fancy Christmas ribbon from Joann's and tied a cluster of jingle bells to the center. Don't forget to mist your fresh wreath once or twice a week to keep it from drying out.

No mess glitter ornaments
The clear glass ornaments were a Goodwill store find at a dollar for a box of 6 so I scooped up all four boxes there. I have a ridiculous supply of different color glitters so I experimented to see which were my favorites for the tree. I'm usually biased toward the reds but all of these are so pretty in real life, it's hard to decide.
Simply coat the inside of the ball with Glitter It glue, swirl to coat well and add lots of glitter, turning as you go to keep it even, dump out excess. Let dry overnight before replacing the hanger. So simple and sparkly!

10 minute snowmen card
I picked up this darling little snowmen embossing folder (by Darice) at Joann's, it makes a super quick start for a card. Added some rhinestone embellishments, SU button and twine, inked edges in Cool Caribbean, and added a strip of glitter tape (American Crafts).
Sweet Friend
For the Sunday sketch at Operation Write Home, I made a valentine using Stampin' Up! supplies. You Are Loved stamp set with retired paper on Real Red cardstock.

Tissue Box Cover
Sorry I haven't posted in about a week, I've been busy decorating for Christmas. Almost done my formal living room tree, I just have to add the crystals and icicles. The pictures here are my son's Star Wars tree located in his "man cave". The blue lights look so cool at night with the lights out.
The first picture is a tissue box I decorated for the bathroom using gingham wrapping paper and the Scentsational Season and Sweets for the Sweet stamp sets.

All supplies are Stampin' Up! I saw this idea to use the Carry On sentiment with the Scentsational Season gingerbread man together on SCS, a very cute card made by Sarabeth46. Tribble
I have a new friend that sits right outside of the office window every day staring at me. This is the biggest rabbit I've ever seen, about the size of a very large house cat. He is usually in the shape of a big round bowling ball, working his jaws almost constantly. He looks just like a Tribble from Star Trek and makes me smile (until he starts eating all of my vegetables in the Spring).
Away in a Manger
All supplies are Stampin' Up! Soft Suede and Whisper White cardstocks, stamp sets Heaven and Nature (colored in markers) and In the Stars (embossed in gold). Wood grain embossing folder for manger. I used the tutorial on Splitcoaststampers for the shape of the manger.

Scrap Saver
I was left with a perfect square with four circles after cutting out the ornaments shown in the post below so I couldn't let this piece go to waste. Stampin' Up! Northern Frost paper with Festive Flurry stamp set in Coastal Cabana.
3D Ornaments
These 3D ornaments are a great way to use up your paper scraps. I used the Sizzix 3D ornament die but you could punch out your own circles and follow the triangle pattern so you can make them any size you would like. The first picture uses Basic Grey, the second a template, the third uses Stampin' Up! current Christmas paper.

Sparkle and Shine
This is for the Christmas Card Challenge #51 to use sparkle or bling somewhere on your holiday themed card. I love this retired flocked Christmas paper from Stampin' Up! from a few years back, it's too pretty to cover up so I tried to keep the sentiment area small. I used the old Trim The Tree set for the greeting, Real Red and Whisper White cardstocks, Real Red satin ribbon and a Frosted Finishes embellishment.

Poinsettia card and Snoopy Tree
The card is for this week's Freshly Made Sketch 112. I used Stampin' Up! supplies of retired Christmas paper with Cherry Cobbler and Brushed Gold cardstocks, Joyful Christmas stamp set.
The second picture is my first decorated tree of the season. I have a huge collection of Peanuts ornaments, this little Hallmark tree is Snoopy and Woodstock miniatures. Makes me smile.

Santa's List
For the Mojo Monday sketch this week. I used Teresa Collins "Santa's List" paper, Stampin' Up! cardstock of Cherry Cobbler and Basic Gray, retired ribbon, and Frosted Finishes embellishment.
Peachful Wishes
This is one of those cards that look much prettier up close, I sprayed the whole front with vanilla glimmer spray. I used a variety of pine branch stamps, embossed in gold, clear, and stamped in Cantaloupe and Guava. CTMH Elegant Ornament embossed in silver tinsel. Stampin' Up! Greetings of the Season sentiment in gold. Cardstocks are Crisp Cantaloupe and Blush Blossom.

Santa's Belt
Santa's belt won't close so he may as well just laugh about it. This is for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge 111.
It's good to be back on my feet again and making cards. I was so sick all week with a flu, and in bed for 6 days. The upside is I lost 8 pounds, the puzzler is that I had a flu shot at the end of September. So glad it's all over with.
I kept my card simple and resisted the urge I always have to layer it all up :) Real Red base embossed with the snowflake folder, Whisper White scallop punch with Basic Black strip and mini brads for belt, silver glimmer paper "buckle" with ho ho ho sentiment from retired Holiday Sampler set. I would have to say this is one of my favorite SU Christmas sets, so many images and sentiments to choose from and all pretty timeless too. Never getting rid of this one. Ever.
