I just returned from the Jersey Shore last night from visiting my family. I made this card because it reminded me of my son playing on the beach when he was small and it was also for the Inspiration Challenge on SCS.
Stamps: SU Summer By The Sea and Stipple Shells (stamped in caramel on bottom and Cool Caribbean on top). Image colored in markers with some retired hodgepodge hardware and linen thread to embellish.

Super cute card - love the beach theme and I found it so funny that you would go to the Jersey shore from the west coast - and in April to boot. our family has been going to the Jersey shore for about 5 years now and we love it. This year I am going with my families girls weekend next month. Can't wait - even if it is still a little chilly. I can taste the salt water taffy and feel the sand and boardwalk on my feet just thinking about it!

Hope your trip went well and glad you're back home safely! If you're like me, I always am ready to sleep in my own bed after a trip. Your card is so sweet...reminds me of the years we went to the Outer Banks and all the kids would build a huge sand sculpture. Great memories!
great ic card and tribute to nj joanne-hope your trip to nj was a good one-I guess you didnt need your winter coat-the east coast had some unusually warm temps last week
The good ole Jersey shore... love it.. I hope you said HI for me... this card also reminds me of the way son would build sandcastles and then be mad at the waves for knocking them down later.. we would always tell him to make them up higher...
