Mermaid Meeting

For the Anything Goes Wednesday Challenge at Simon Says Stamp. I used the Lawn Fawn set and dies Mermaid For You. Had lots of fun creating the underwater scene with watercolor and glossy paper, brusho crystals, alcohol inks, sequins, and Scattered stencil  and a Hero Arts water drops stencil with ice blue Nuvo paste.

Christmas In July

Stars are the inspiration for this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge. I used their set Carol Singers, colored in Copic markers and Prismacolor pencil details. The yellow and blue shading was done with Speckled Egg distress oxide ink and Pearl pastels in yellow and light turquoise. Added some star sequins.

Be A Mermaid

Mermaids! Love them. This is the Be A Mermaid set from Simon Says Stamp, colored in Copic markers and covered with Wink Of Stella glitter. I had the scales stencil in my collection and used Nuvo glimmer pastes of ice blue and green. Added sequins and little glass beads to embellish.

On The Beach

This is as as close as I will probably get to the beach this year! A slimline card for the lawnfawnatics summer challenge using the On The Beach set. The airplane is from Hero Arts since I don't have the cute one from Lawn Fawn.
Also for the Simon Says Stamp beach theme challenge this week.

The Blues

Colored the Celebrate Sunflowers in various blue alcohol ink markers. Misty Moonlight and Whisper White card stocks, Night of Navy ink. Embossed in white.
For the SUO coloring challenge this week.

Pink Sunflower

The Flowers For Every Season paper pack from Stampin' Up! is so lovely. Love this pink so I made a coordinating flower and branches. The little gems finally arrived from back order. They are much tinier than I had anticipated  but very cute and don't add much in the way of bulk or bumps for mailing.

Positive and Negative Rainbow

This is a card that looks better in person, the center of the flower is covered in silver glitter dust and it is so pretty! I did this a bit by accident. I was taping down the die with this tape so it didn't move in the Big Shot. When I lifted up the card stock it still had bits of the tape stuck to it so I decided to do the entire flower this way. I'm sure it has been done by someone somewhere before but I have never seen it yet. This is the Celebrate Sunflowers stamp set and coordinating die cuts.

Coloring Challenge cards

Some more of the cards I have been working on for The Daily Marker 30 Day Coloring Challenge.
The first uses Simon Says Stamp "Beautiful Flowers" and distress oxide inks for background. Painted the flowers and leaves with Arteza real brush watercolor pens.
The middle card uses a 3D Sizzix tropical leaves folder in Mossy Meadow with the Lawn Fawn set Love Ya Bunches.
Last, I used Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils for this Technique Junkies stamp Under The Sea. I scribbled circles over the whole blue sea area with a matching pencil and then added some Nuvo translucent enamel drops on the bubbles.

More Houses

Just a few more from the Simon Says Stamp Home Sweet Home set before I move on to some of the Stampin' Up! products that have been patiently waiting for me. Hope you like them!

Beautiful Flowers

This big, beautiful stamp is from Simon Says Stamp (Beautiful Flowers). Slimline cards are strangely addicting and I'm sure most of us have some business envelopes around to mail them out in.
I embossed the image using Judikins Egyptian Gold, colored with Arteza Real Brush pens (watercolors). I really like these. they are super easy to use. Inked the whole panel with Tim Holtz Antique Linen distress oxide ink. Spritzed with water. Added sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black. I have tried many blacks for words and this is by far the absolute best for crisp clarity. It's not good for coloring as it smears badly with Copics and other markers.

New Home

This sweet monthly kit from Simon Says Stamp is called Home Sweet Home and is a lot of fun to work with. Same basic design in different colors.

Shellebrate!

Fun with a few different sets from Lawn Fawn. I used glossy photo paper for the distress oxide inks and it worked great.

Golden Sunflowers

The background was made with crinkled up tissue paper glued to the card stock and then painted with various inks and gold spray. Embossed some of the ridges with Versamark and gold powder. The Stampin' Up! Celebrate Sunflowers were embossed in copper, colored and fussy cut, some popped up on dimensionals. For the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge to use paints.

Blues

I added eight different shades of blue to this Center Cut Hexagon Floral stamp from Simon Says Stamp with Lyra Rembrandt Polycolor pencils. A nice flat card for mailing! I love this set and especially love this sentiment which can work for so many things. Hope you find both joy and some time to craft this week. Stay well!

Sweet Birthday

Was going for the look of a chocolate ganache but I got carried away with the Tim Holtz distress glitter and couldn't get it off of the crystal effects glaze. I am going to imagine it is crystalized sugar and just go with it. Added some candy beads with the Nuvo Fairy Drops enamel drops and added some Wink Of Stella glitter to the cookies and candy. The design is by Alex Syberia digital stamps, found on Etsy.
Am making my best effort to finish the Daily Marker 30 day coloring challenge. this will be Day 3.

Hexagons

Am really loving this new hexagon floral, greetings, and die from Simon Says Stamps, I know that I will get a lot of mileage out of this suite. I stamped the image in Speckled Egg distress ink from Tim Holtz on Bashful Blue card stock. Colored with Prismacolor pencils and then embossed whole piece in Versamark and white powder,

Cheery Greetings

This cheery and bright kit is from Hero Arts and is for the Simon Says Stamp bright and cheery challenge. Made multiples to send to Cards For Kindness and Cards For Hospitalized Kids.

Follow Your Dreams

Lots of sparkle in this card that was hard to capture on such an overcast day. The silver glitter spray from Simon Says Stamp is amazing! I used the airplane fancy die from Hero Arts for the theme of going for a ride. The background night sky was done on photo paper with various alcohol inks and brushos color crystals. The clouds were done with the new (from the May monthly HA kit) cloudy skies dies with some added Memento silver ink brushed on.

VSN cards

3 more cards for the challenges using Graphic 45 Sunkissed paper for the turtle and SU card stocks, second card uses SU sentiment from Faith In Nature and Technique Junkies Fence Silhouette, third card uses Simon Says Stamp kit of the month from July 2017. Somewhere along the way of the Virtual Stamp Night challenges I lost heart and couldn't continue so this is it.
