Time

Supplies used were mostly Ranger and Tim Holtz (stamps and inks). Clock embossing folder is Darice. Card stock- Lawn Fawn paper Bag and Vanilla Malt, SU Chocolate Chip. Tattered Angels glimmer mist sprays and clock charm to embellish. The inside reads Enjoy The Journey. Will make this either a New Year's card or it could work for graduation or retirement.

Pop Culture trees

I had so much fun decorating our trees this year, it was hard to stop with just one. My son Billy gets a Star Wars tree, I began collecting that series back in 1997 when he was born. The helmet tree topper was a toy of his when he was little, the attached Darth Vader voice box still works.
For my stamp room I did a little Harry Potter tree. The sorting hat is also a puppet, from Zulily. I don't have many of these ornaments so I had to make a lot of them. Temporary tattoos were used on gold balls with Dazzling Diamonds and other glitters. Brooms from Halloween, a die cut deer "patronus" and Dumbledore's wand from HP at Universal. I have some pins that I got at Half Price Books that I will be doing something with, if I can find them. New Year's resolution number one- organize the supplies!

Winter's Evening Village

Since Christmas popped up way too soon for me to finish all that I had planned to do this year, I've decided to join in on the Splitcoast Christmas Card Challenge 2018. I hope to do lots of holiday cards and projects, 3d pieces, gift packaging and tags, ornaments and more throughout the year.
I love this deeply etched embossing folder by Crafter's Companion. I inked up the folder with white craft ink before running it through the Big Shot. Added some silver glitter tree silhouettes and extra white gel pen snow dots. Card stocks are SU's Night of Navy and Smoky Slate.
This is the first card made for Christmas 2018. Look at me, I'm already ahead :)

Watercolor Wren

This sweet image and the sentiment are by Penny Black. Watercolor paper and watercolor pencils for image. Spritzed the image a few times when done coloring to let it blur and run a little bit. Mounted on Early Espresso and then onto watercolor paper base with pop up dimensional strips.

Last Dirty Dozen Day

Yesterday was my final upload to Splitcoast Stampers for the Dirty Dozen. I can't believe how quickly it all went! Now I can officially share my cards that I made from 6 months ago, these were from the summer gallery with the central theme of "Time To Relax". Hope they bring some warmth and good wishes to all of you who live in the colder places right about now :)

SU Bamboo and Butterflies

The Bamboo background stamp is an old one from Stampin' Up!, embossed in clear. Shaded with Tim Holtz inks and cut the SU butterflies (Bigz die) from heavy plastic (Spellbinders dies case) and colored with alcohol inks and flourish stamped with black staz-on. This was created for the Dale Chihuly inspiration on Splitcoast.
