Orchid Rose Bouquet

Finally getting to this lovely card kit from Simon Says Stamp, February 2022 😊. I think I was intimidated by the overly large stamp and this is just a portion of it, now I realize that there was nothing to be afraid of! I embossed it in white and colored it in with Copic markers and a watercolor wash for the background. The finished card size is 4 3/4" x 7" and is on water color paper.

Celestial Greetings

Two versions of a card using Hero Arts Circular Grid stamp embossed in white with the Celestial dies. I really, really love this sun.

Heart Pouch

The Lawn Fawn Heart Pouch die set is adorable and super easy to put together. I think I am going to be making quite a few of these but I'm afraid to buy the chocolates too early, I don't know where they disappear to.

For the current Lawn Fawnatics challenge.

Hero Arts Mixed Media 2024

I needed a little creative nudge so I signed up for the Hero Arts Mixed Media class. Had a great time and am doing it all at my own leisure following along on the videos on youtube for participants. I can be a slow stamper so I don't want to get stressed out or hold anyone else up during the live stream, so this option is perfect for me. You can buy the whole bundle for the class at Hero Arts (lots of cool things here). I will be working on some more cards and journal pages, as I was stamping, die cutting, and spraying up some extra bits here and there during the class. This is my effort on the first two projects.

Vintage Tags

Trying some new things in the new year, this one using all Tim Holtz. I have two drawers full of various items that have never been opened, it just seemed too beautiful to use. Papers, ephemera, and all sorts of goodies staring back at me. I found a lovely tutorial on youtube by String & Scissors for using the Worn Wallpaper pack. This paper is so nice, it actually feels like old wallpaper would and all of the patterns are so pretty. The seams of the diamonds are hidden by some thin washi tape.

Box of Chocolates

It was very relaxing assembling all of these chocolates. The dies are small so you want to get them all sorted into the shapes that go together before you start cutting and assembling. Dies are Tim Holtz "True Love Colorize made with an assortment of textured card stocks, red and silver foil stock, glossy accents, and Rock Candy glitter. The silver embossed sentiment is by Fiskars and is called "Lasting Love Quotes".

Birthday Batch

I made a batch of colorful, cheery birthday cards for a card drive. I thought this festive design could be used for all ages. Paper is by American Crafts "Bubbles".
