3D Scentsational Season Tree

I almost forgot that there are other cute stamps and matching die cuts for the Scentsational Season set with my obsession of the gingerbread man :)

Also used Be of Good Cheer designer paper, Wild Wasabi, Cherry Cobbler, and Very Vanilla cardstocks. Cherry Cobbler taffeta ribbon, Sizzix Scallop Circles 2 die, Elegant Bouquet embossing folder, and Greetings of the Season for sentiment. I cut three of the tree for the 3d effect. This will mail flat if you just move one of the tree parts to one side. Added some "berries" in Cherry Cobbler marker.

Toxic Treats

Stampin' Up Toxic Treats witch was embossed in pewter powder and then inked with So Saffron and Pumpkin Pie. I stamped the sentiment down the side in Tangerine, Olive, and black and couldn't resist adding some googly eyes to the o's in spooky. Cornish Heritage Farms tree background stamp clear embossed on part of card front.

Pumpkin shaped card

Stampin' Up Autumn Days and Very Thankful for sentiment on Whisper White cardstock with a Pumpkin Pie base. Spellbinders Nestabilities pumpkin dies that were stamped with an old Cornish Heritage Farms background trees stamp.

Scallop Punch Flower

Some Thanksgiving cards made using the Stampin' Up scallop punch and retired Autumn Vine paper. The turkey was an idea from the SU demo's magazine from 2008 that I have been wanting to try. The body is a 1 3/8" circle, head is 3/4". Feet are from the three flower punch. Sentiment from Very Thankful set.

To make the scallop punch flower, first count out five scallops and fold that portion down. Turn this over as seen in second picture and fold in hlaf to form crease in the middle, then unfold. Step 3: Fold flat edges down from each side to line up with the center crease. Four of these will make the full flower shown.

Christmas Blocks

Inspired by a sample card in the Papercrafts Holiday Cards issue, I modified it a bit, keeping the layout. Stampin' Up supplies were used for this: Greetings of the Season stamp set in Real Red and some retired SU holiday designer paper. This is a great design to make in multiples once you get going with the 1 1/4" and 1 3/8" punches and it is a nice, flat mailable design.

Simply Soft

Stampin' Up Simply Soft colored in Copic markers and shaded with chalk pastels. Cardstocks: Not Quite Navy and Whisper White.

All Tucked In

One more with the Scentsational Season gingerbread stamp and some candy canes. I tucked the images in behind the Old Olive strip that was embossed with Petals-a-Plenty folder. Real Red card base was embossed with Northern Flurry folder.

My white gel pen was running dry but I felt the card needed a little bit more to make it pop. I used an embossing stylus dotted with white acrylic paint. Remember the days when we actually dry embossed everything by hand, with a stylus and a light table?? Wow, thank goodness for the Big Shot.

Cards for Operation Write Home

I had a quiet Sunday morning to set aside for making some cards for Operation Write Home. The first uses SU's Fast & Fabulous stamp set on Confetti White cs with Crumb Cake and Pretty in Pink cardstocks and some pink baker's twine.

The second uses the SU set Chere Amie with various designer papers.

The third set is a case from Paper Crafts and uses the new Etruscan Elegance jumbo wheel, the frame from Frames and Flourishes, sentiment from Elementary Elegance.

The last one uses Baroque Motifs on Soft Sky cardstock, Chocolate craft ink embossed in clear. Wedding image is from Artfull Inkables.

Christmas Tag Tin

I found some cute tins at Ikea in the clearance area that I couldn't wait to bring home and repurpose. I used some retired SU Christmas paper to cover and trimmed with Real Red taffeta ribbon. Super quick and easy. I have been making 5-10 tags a day to be ready ahead of time this year and plan to also give some of these filled tins as gifts. The tags are a great way to use up some of those cardstock scraps we all have laying around. Santa stamp found at a yard sale :)

Acorn card

Autumn acorn (template found on the internet), fold is at the top to make a card. Stampin' Up retired paper (Spice Cake) used with new Autumn Accents Sizzix die for leaves, jute twine, flower was made with three flower punch.

Frog

I had a leftover Gable Green Petite Purse cut out from yesterday's witch and wanted to try another idea, I thought maybe she could use a companion. Spots are from So Saffron, added googly eyes and a piece of raffia for the tongue. Cards are coming, I'm going to reluctantly set the purse die aside for a little while :)

Witch Purse

Stampin' Up Petite Purse die using retired Gable Green cardstock, googly eyes, raffia and Basic Black for hat. To make a hat, simply cut or puch a circle of any size. Make a dot in center and then cut a triangle out of it to look like 2/3 of a pie that has been eaten. Curl it a little bit with your bone folder and glue edges together and then adhere to a circle for brim.

Addicted to Petite Purse Die

Can you tell I love this Stampin' Up die? These were made with Soft Suede cardstock as the bases. You can get two purses from one sheet of cardstock, which is why I have been posting these in pairs :)

I wheeled both in matching ink with the Etruscan Elegance jumbo wheel and added an antique brad to the one for a super simple purse. For the owl I added "feathers" with a Martha Stewart border punch in Very Vanilla, head was Dusty Durango embossed with Vintage Wallpaper folder, beak is More mustard.

Ghost and Mummy

Stampin' Up Petite Purse die was used with Whisper White cardstock to create this mummy and ghost. I used some scraps of stitched white cotton ribbon (scavenged from packaging that tied down some Ikea Chair cushions). My husband must have thought I was a bit daft saving this at the time but it didn't stop me from adding it to my stash of oddball objects. You just never know when you might need these gems :)

Mr. and Mrs. Frank N. Stein

Frankenstein couple made from the petite purse die by Stampin' Up in Pear Pizzazz cardstock. I used some old square jumbo eyelets for the "bolts" on the necks.

Cat and Bat

More with the Petite Purse die from Stampin' Up. I have seen the bat idea before but thought I could easily adapt that to make a cat with a little rhinestone ribbon collar. Cardstocks used were Basic Black, Celery, and Pink Pirouette. The bat wings were embossed with the spider web folder, the cats ears are the wings from the bird punch.

Petite Purse Pumpkins

Petite Purse Pumpkins, say that fast three times :) Pumpkin Pie cardstock with petite purse die. I added a glass bead for stem and some leaves from the bird punch in Old Olive.

Toxic Treats

Inspired by a project in the demonstrator's Stampin' Success magazine, I changed it a tiny bit from a treat bag to a card using the Natural Composition specialty paper, Toxic Treats stamp set with Apothecary Art framelits die, paper is SU (from the Doily design, do not know name), Paper Doily Sizzlits die.

Gingerbread Apron

Stampin' Up's new Scentsational Season and coordinating framelits for gingerbread images. I got this bundle just for the gingerbread man :) Stamped in Dusty Durango which is awesome for this particular stamp. I guess you could also use Tangerine Tango or More Mustard if you want to stay current. The baking sheet they are on is Brushed Silver cardstock. I cut out the apron shape and adhered to Sahara Sand card base and then cut out the arm areas on both sides so this will open up like a regular card. Added eyelets and narrow organdy ribbon (this was from a Saleabrations ribbon bundle), utensils are QuickKutz kitchen die, scallop border in Whisper White is a Martha Stewart punch. Paper is SU's Festival of Prints.

Copper Gratitude

Day of Gratitude stamp set with Autumn Accents framelits. For the copper cardstock, I used Glossy White and then spritzed on various inks by Tattered Angels to create an antique copper patina. Ran some of the leaves through the Big Shot with the Square Lattice folder. Copper cording and some non SU accents to embellish. Dusty Durango card base.
