Treat Holders

I came across some retired sheets of Stampin' Up! press out treat holders and made some Halloween candy envelope holders from them using the Toxic Treats set, black cardstock embossed with the spider web and last years lace Halloween ribbon. These 12x12" cardstock sheets of various tags and such are pretty old, from when I first got hooked on SU years back. Just never got around to using them :) The paper is from Crafty Secrets.

Another snowflake

I embossed a few extra snowflakes this morning and made a quick card with the spares. Whisper White base embossed with Northern Flurry folder. Snowflakes are from Festive Flurry set embossed in pewter powder on Brushed Silver cardstock. Greetings of the Season sentiment.

Silver Snowflake

To be used as either an ornament or a card embellishment, I haven't decided yet. I used Brushed Silver cardstock and embossed the Festive Flurry snowflakes in pewter and cut out all four sizes with the coordinating framelits. Each layer is popped up with a dimensional and has a Frosted Finishes snowflake in the center to embellish.

Modern Halloween

All supplies are Stampin' Up! Modern Medley paper on Very Vanilla with Basic Black matting, Stamp sets are From The Crypt and Wicked Cool (used mosaic punch for sentiment), vanilla taffeta ribbon and half pearls to embellish.

Halloween cards

I had a box of stamped images from last year that I wanted to concentrate on before I start making more new Halloween cards for this season. I will be sending them along to Operation Write Home to beat the August deadline. This is a mixed lot, mostly all Stampin' Up!, except for web paper on bottom card which is Martha Stewart.

Swallowtail

I started with a square of textured white cardstock and embossed the Hello Doily in white and shaded it with Pink Pirouette, the inside in Daffodil ink (didn't like the way it looked so I added Cool Caribbean over top). The butterfly was stamped with Versamark on vellum and embossed in white. Colored with a Bermuda Bay marker and immediately wiped off ink while it was still wet just to get a little color between the white. Added a very fine layer of clear glue with a paintbrush and added Dazzling Diamonds glitter. All supplies are Stampin' Up!

Stampin' Up! supplies used were Whisper White and Pacific Point cardstocks, Top Note die and mitten punch, Northern Flurry and Lattice Squares embossing folders, Winter Frost paper, Festive Flurry and Joyous Christmas stamp sets, white twine, silver mini brads and jingle bells from a previous holiday mini.

Festive Flurry

Another past convention project idea with new Festive Flurry set in Real Red and Pink Pirouette. Textured white cardstock is scored at 4", 5", and 9" to create a standing treat bag holder. Sentiment is from A Beautiful Season on Old Olive strip, Frosty Finishes embellishment on silver embossed snowflake.

Pretty Print Flower Shop

All Stampin' Up! supplies: Smoky Slate and Whisper White cardstocks, Winter Frost paper and Pretty Print embossing folder will be available in the upcoming holiday mini, Flower Shop in Strawberry Slush, sentiment from Postage Collection, Pink Pirouette taffeta ribbon, soft subtles candy dots, scallop border, word window, and bird and branch punches. I accidentally ordered extra Smoky Slate and Coastal Cabana cardstocks when I really wanted the ink pads so you may be seeing a lot of cards using these two colors for a bit :)

Winter Frost Christmas

New Winter Frost specialty paper with Festive Flurry and A Beautiful Season stamp sets embossed in silver, Frosty Finish embellishment and non SU ribbon. (They have a new silver ribbon that will be available in the new catalog but I didn't get it yet.)

Joyous Christmas

The poinsettia is from the new holiday mini from Stampin' Up called Joyous Christmas. I used Real Red re-inker and an aquapainter to color. Leaves in Wasabi. Sentiment is from Field Flowers, embossed in espresso. Vintage button and crochet trim to embellish.

Winter Frost gift packaging

I used an acrylic tube that I just bought a t-shirt in last weekend to recycle into Christmas gift packaging, trying out the new Stampin' Up! Winter Frost specialty designer paper with the new Festive Flurry bundle, Frosty Finishes embellishments and the sentiment from the Joyful Christmas set.

Christmas in July

All new Stampin' Up! holiday mini for this week's Mojo Monday card layout. I embossed the white panel with the Northern Flurries folder (not new) and mounted to Coastal Cabana base. Winter Frost specialty paper with Festive Flurry bundle (snowflake stamps and coordinating framelits) embossed in silver and Pool Party. Coastal Cabana ruffled ribbon and the most awesome embellishment ever made by Stampin' Up!- the Frosted Finishes silver snowflakes. The centers are all rhinestones and just the prettiest thing!

Thank You cards

This is another project that I didn't do at the 2008 convention. I am a pretty slow stamper, usually moving at a leisurely pace so I don't really enjoy the rushing through method at these affairs. That's just me, most people love this. I don't still have the original set that they used for the samples (Best Wishes & More), switching it to the owl punch, Morning Meadow, and Curvy Verses stamp sets. Cardstocks were Vanilla, Chocolate, Pink Pirouette, and Baja Breeze, felt flowers, silver brads, and chocolate grosgrain ribbon to embellish.
For the card holder, use a piece of cardstock 9 3/4" x 6". Score lengthwise at 4 3/4" x 5", rotate and score at 2 1/2".

Soft Summer

I knew I would get around to completing this card eventually! This was one of the projects at a Stampin' Up! Regional Convention from 2008 that I never finished. I was always too busy chatting or swapping to ever get anything done at these things. Supplies used were Soft Summer stamp set, Confetti Cream, Ruby Red and Watercolor cardstocks, Chocolate Chip ink and grosgrain ribbon.

Lovely Romance

All supplies are Stampin' Up! Pool Party and Whisper White cardstocks, In Color designer paper stack, Lovely Romance stamp set, retired buttons to embellish.

Old World Open Sea

I found this old world map background in my box of stamped images and inked it with Pool Party, Bermuda Bay and sprayed with Vanilla Smooch Spritz. The Open Sea ship was embossed in espresso, retired cording and brad embellishment, sentiment from MFP. On Naturals Ivory card base with Basic Black matting.

White on White

This is a bit whiter looking in real life. All supplies are Stampin' Up! Whisper White cardstock embossed with Wildflower Meadow and then embossed with matching folder. I added popped up embossed vellum flowers from the Flower Shop set and added jumbo pearls.

Scrap Savers Solution

When I have left over smaller pieces from cardstock, I automatically punch them into various shapes and add them to a clear plastic tray by the side of my desk. Once the tray is fairly full, I sort them out and keep them in clear labeled envelopes- circles, squares, labels, flowers, owls, butterflies, etc. This makes it easy to have that desired shape ready to go and keeps all of those smaller pieces out of your full cardstock sheet storage.

Fish embossed in gold on glossy white cardstock and colored with Olive and Coastal Cabana markers. Half Pearl to embellish. Edges embossed with Tulip Frame folder.

Recycled Gift Box

I had some extra boxes that the Stampin' Up! fabric quarters came in and used them for a quick gift package. Simply adhere a bit of designer paper to box and decorate. I used a Spellbinders frame with Delicate Doilies and Simply Sketched sentiment. Fabric roses to embellish.
