More Christmas stuff!

For this pinecone I discovered the use of the Stampin' Up photo corner punch and it made this a cinch to make. Much easier than my first where I folded all of those square into points! Start with the smaller corner size around the bottom of the styrofoam egg and continue layering and overlapping all of the way around with the slightly larger corners and finish at the top with the smaller ones again. These are all secured with pins. Embellish top as desired.
My second ornament was very inexpensive (about a dollar) to make and really looks gorgeous on the tree where the light reflects off of all of those gold beads. Clear acrylic ornament from Michael's filled with a gold bead garland that I scored at Goodwill today. I got a huge bag filled with garlands, baubles, and beads for $2. This will keep me happily crafting for a while. The poinsettia is from K&Co.
The third is a card I made for Speedy's Friends challenge this week for a circle on your card. I used the Seasonal Poinsettias from Mark's Finest Papers and Memory Box paper, Santa charm is also from MFP. Faith has the cutest embellishments!

Double Inlay Embossing

This is a great technique for a quick wow. Stamp your main image (script works beautifully) and then clear emboss the whole panel. Stamp another image with Versamark over top of this and then emboss in a different color of embossing powder, the image seems to blend into the bottom embossed layer. My gold doesn't show up so much in the photograpgh but it is really pretty in real life.
Card info: This is a sneak peek of a new set coming out next week from Mark's Finest Papers called Musical Holiday. I first embossed the musical score in clear and then embossed the French horn and treble clef images in gold over top. The sweet little Santa charm is also available at MFP. The sentiment is also embossed in gold.
Paper is SU Deck The Halls on Brushed Gold base with pearl accents and gold cording.
Project #14 in my Christmas Countdown.

Regal And Proud Blog Hop Day 3

This set was so aptly named, the images are so majestic and patriotic. I love the nature themed stamps, they are really perfect for almost any occasion. For this card I used the regal eagle and stamped him in a dark brown and highlighted him with Copic markers E51, G21, Y32, and YR24 (Copics are now available at MFP!). The designer paper is an older retired one from SU and the layout is from Card Patterns Sketch76. Hope you like it!
