This week it was my turn to host the color challenge at Splitcoast. Since fall is bearing down us, ready or not, I chose some colors to compliment this pretty season.
I chose More Mustard, Tangerine Tango and Soft Suede. The dessert option is to make it into a thank you or Thanksgiving card.
I used all Stampin' Up supplies except for sentiment. Spice Cake paper, half pearls and vanilla seam binding riibon to embellish. I stamped the side panel in mustard and tangerine with some of the smaller stamps from the set and embossed with the Swiss Dots folder.

Autumn Mix Up

It certainly feels like fall here today with temps in the low 60's. I am still waiting for summer weather to get here in the Pacific Northwest but I guess those 5 hot days we just had were it!
Today's challenge on SCS was to mix it up using stamps from more than one company.
I combined the new sneak peek set called Autumn Fun from Mark's Finest Papers (available in mid-September) using the leaf and sentiment. Stamped the leaf in Tangerine Tango and shaded with pearlescent chalk pastels, embossed the sentiment in gold. I also used the French Foliage set from Stampin' Up on Confetti Cream cardstock in various colors of ink. I cut out two medallions from the new Autumn Spice specialty designer paper as part of the layout (Mojo100 sketch). Daffodil taffeta ribbon to embellish.

Day Of Gratitude

Trying something a little different with this new set. It looks much better in real life, it was hard to get a good picture of this. I gold embossed the images on espresso cardstock and highlighted the medallion with craft inks. Added rhinestone brad. Card base is Pear Pizzazz.

French Foliage

A quick and easy to mail card, this uses the new French Foliage set stamped in poppy, Celery, and Mustard. Gold Smooch Spritz sprayed over all, leaves were shaded with pastel chalks. Card base is Poppy Parade.
I think I have a new favorite fall leaf set!

Just Believe monochromatic

All supplies used are Stampin' Up, some retired.
I really love this set! I had this designer paper out on my desk already today so went from there with the rest of the card. I combined some challenges to take some of the guess work out of layouts and such so it was pretty easy. One of the challenges today was to use wood grain so I chose the SU Sizzix embossing texture plate for the polka dot base and wood looking paper also in the layout. Card base is Taken with Teal, image is stamped in Cool Caribbean and I used the Bermuda Bay marker to darken the flowers. Rhinestones, pearls, and vanilla taffeta ribbon are also by SU. Designer paper is retired Autumn something, can't remember exactly.

Branch Out Apple Tree

This week our Doubledog Dare challenge was to make a fall or back to school card that had an apple or apples somewhere on it. You are very welcome to join us, there are no fancy requirements, just post your creation using the keyword DDC on SCS so we can find and comment on your card.
I used the Branch Out Tree and the cherry from On A Pedestal for my apple for this fall card. Autumn Traditions paper, eggplant grosgrain ribbon, and Earth Elements brads also used.
