Santa's Belt

Santa's belt won't close so he may as well just laugh about it. This is for this week's Freshly Made Sketches challenge 111.
It's good to be back on my feet again and making cards. I was so sick all week with a flu, and in bed for 6 days. The upside is I lost 8 pounds, the puzzler is that I had a flu shot at the end of September. So glad it's all over with.
I kept my card simple and resisted the urge I always have to layer it all up :) Real Red base embossed with the snowflake folder, Whisper White scallop punch with Basic Black strip and mini brads for belt, silver glimmer paper "buckle" with ho ho ho sentiment from retired Holiday Sampler set. I would have to say this is one of my favorite SU Christmas sets, so many images and sentiments to choose from and all pretty timeless too. Never getting rid of this one. Ever.
All supplies used are Stampin' Up!

It always seems so unfair when one gets the flu even though they took the precaution of getting a flu shot! So sorry you were sick! Your card is adorable, and I love how you think of it as Santa not being able to fasten his belt. Thanks for joining us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

Glad you are feeling better! This is so cute! Love the idea of Santa's belt being a bit too small!
