Rock and Roll Butterfly

For the rock and roll technique, start with your lighter color and ink the stamp completely. Take your darker color and just roll the stamp around the edge, picking up the darker color. You can ink in a little bit farther in for more color or just on the very edge. Experiment and see which you like, both ways are very pretty.
I used Summer Sun and Only Orange for the butterfly, Kiwi Kiss and Old Olive for the sprigs, Summer Sun for the smaller ones. I embossed the retired French Script background almost as an afterthought. I noticed similar script in the butterfly image and carried that over to the background.

I have tried this technique and never have any luck. It always looks one sided or to much and the base color doesn't show. Must be all in the wrist motion to get it to look like this. Your card is beautiful and the colors remind me of a Hawaiian sunset. Beautiful!
