Happy Winter

 

For the Sparkle and Shine themed challenge from Simon Says Stamp I used Tim Holtz's  distress Rock Candy chunky glitter on my projects here. I love the way this sparkles! I'm still working on the Stamperia "Winter Tales" paper pack, cards, tags, bookmarks, and the clothes pins. So many people send holiday photos and I wanted to have something pretty to attach them to the swag I made for my Christmas card display.

Believe in Magic Ornament

 

Another Christmas themed project, this is for the Simon Says Stamp challenge found HERE.

I used Stamperia "Winter Tales" paper and an ornament that I found at the local thrift store to repurpose. I added a longer crystal dangle and it looks so beautiful on the tree, reflecting the lights.

Cookie Sheet Christmas

A silver panel made this a baking sheet for the Santa Faces "cookies", added some baking embellishments. For the DieCember Instagram and the Simon Says Stamp Monday challenge.

Santa Faces

 Time for new challenges and the month of DieCember. Dies are my favorites papercrafting supply so I am all in for this theme.  This is for the monthly Instagram challenge and the Simon Monday Challenge found HERE.

The Santa Faces is a set of three dies to coordinate with the embossing folder and is a must have classic keeper. I paired it with the Simon "Simple Ho Design" dies that seemed perfect for this.

The Snow Notes

 How cute are these guys? The Snow Notes dies are from Spellbinders, as is the Nordic Flurry embossing folder. I thought it would be sweet if they were all linking arms. Th music notes are from my die collection and I don't know who made them. They were a free bonus gift that came with a stamping order placed years back. 

Nordic Snowman

 

Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday's Challenge is Anything Goes (with Lawn Fawn). I had started this Christmas card already this morning and will move on to a Lawn Fawn one next! This uses Poppystamps Nordic Snowman and Treeline dies. Love them! The background was stenciled using a snowflake pattern, then embossed with Spellbinders "Nordic Noel" folder.

Holiday tag time! (The addressing part is on the other side). A matched set for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge found here. AALL & Create stamps Winter is Magic, paper is older retired Close To My Heart, birch trees are Lawn Fawn birch trees dies.

Santa Claus

 I am making cards for local senior/assisted living facilities in my area. This large Santa face stamp is a great one to use for making multiples. I silver embossed all of the card front pieces at the same time and coloring/shading were minimal. The glittery sentiment is a die from Simon Says Stamp, done all at one sitting. This old keeper of a stamp was by Peddlers Pack (out of business).

 Celebrating Dia de los Muertos with this Stampingbella stamp set.

Thursday Tag Time

 The heavy chipboard tags were a thrift store find and on sale. All products used are Lawn Fawn from various winter holiday sets. 

Peppermint Prancer

 Wednesday's challenge at Simon Says Stamp can be found HERE. It's not too early to start Christmas cards and projects (including decorating!). I'm waiting until my husband goes out for some errands so I can bring a tree in to adorn. 

The deer and peppermint dies and sentiment are from the Spellbinders October club kits, a really awesome collection!. The embossing folder is called Twirling and is from Simon Says Stamp.

Reindeer & Peppermints

 It's time for a new challenge at Simon Says Stamp with the theme of Christmas. This card uses all new Spellbinders from the October kits of the month. I really love this stitching die set and I am glad that I saved all of the embroidery floss from my cross stitching days!

Falling Leaves

 I love fall! The cooler temps, the colors, all so delightful.

Quoth The Raven

 A few more Halloween cards are on the way for the week before I move on to the next themes of Thanksgiving and Christmas. The raven and skull dies are from the Spellbinders Craftoween box, I loved everything in this box and it was a really great deal. The embossing folder is an older one by Spellbinders, I don't have the name of it or the original packaging. I made a faux verdigris patina with various pastes. The funny sentiment is from Whimsy Stamps "Poe Boy".

Wildflowers

 This retired stamp set by Gina K is one of my favorites. On inking with water spritzing made these two cards. I used distress oxide inks of Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, and Peeled Paint.

Sitting Witch

 

It's time for another challenge at Simon Says Stamp, this time to use a sentiment as the focus. 

I used the witch from "Free Broom Rides" by AALL & Create, Lawn Fawn sentiment Happy Halloween die that was cut out in two shades of purple, and the acrylic paint background that I made to look like eucalyptus.

Frank N Bride

 AALL & Create "Frank N Bride" stamps really make me smile! I made a shaker card with a panel made from metallic acrylic paints, sequins, and Lawn Fawn (I think) trees background die.

Bat Box

 

Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge is "Not A Card" using Lawn Fawn.

This project used the Tiny Gift Box dies with the Bat add on. Lots of fun and easy to do. 

Reverse Inking

 Simon Hurley 3D balloons embossing folder, colored in the balloons and then swiped over all with black ink. The whole front was covered with Glitter Dust spray so it is very sparkly. Sentiment die cut is from Simon Says Stamp.

Samba Time

 

Samba Time is from AALL & Create, colored in Copic markers and then fussy cut the images. 3D tropical leaves embossing folder with glimmer spray over top for lots of sparkle!

Petite Poupette

 Another memorydex card with AALL & Create "Her Garden" stamps and "Stemmed Pouch" dies, Stamperia stencil. I was inspired by Vanessa L's color combination from the youtube tutorial for Club Poupettes 1. The addition of the pink to the sky was a touch that I really liked.

Child's Birthday

 Spellbinders Go Kart Go dies, Stampin' Up! sentiment, Memory Box clouds. Background is blended distress oxide inks of Stormy Sky and Rustic Wilderness.

Summertime Blues

 

Well, there ain't no cure for the Summertime Blues. 🎶🎶 (Eddie Cochran, August 1958)

I used the sweet AALL & Create set called "Her Garden" with their memorydex die "Stemmed Pouch", various inks, sprays, and stencils for the Summer Blues challenge at Simon Says Stamp.

Her Garden

 

I have fallen in love with these sweet doll images from AALL & Create, each has their own delightful personality. This set is called "Her Garden" that I mixed with various other stamps from my collection. I fussy cut the images to create this scene. For Simon Says Stamps Wednesday challenge found HERE.

Black and White

 The background was made using the split negative technique with Simon's Gerbera Daisy Background embossed on both black and white card stocks, for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge found HERE and the Wednesday challenge found HERE.

 The main image is a Stampin' Up! set called "Nature's Wonders" that I will probably keep forever. Stamped it and colored it black all around the edges.

My background uses Picket Fence Studios "Mushrooms Aplenty" and Lawn Fawn sentiments from "To My Fungi". Embellishments are from  Little Things from Lucy's Cards.

For this card I used more of the Mouse! "Say Cheese Classic Mouse" paper by Simple Stories, Steamboat Willie Duo dies, and Frames & Sentiments dies, both by Spellbinders.
