Challenge Combinations
The Three Amigas are having another virtual stamping challenge and you are welcome to join us. Julie would like you to use something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue.
Sharon challenged us to make a quilted card, the how to can be found in the Splitcoast Resources tutorial section. My challenge is to make an Easter treat holder of any kind. I will get my samples up as soon as I can. I think my "borrowed" item for this card was time. I was supposed to be painting the Rec Room but made a card instead.
This is also for today's challenge to use flowers and for this week's sketch.
All supplies are Stampin' Up: Greenhouse Gala paper with Baja, Saffron, and Soft Suede cardstocks, half pearls, Boho Blossoms punch, markers and pastels, Baja seam binding ribbon.

Oldies But Goodies Blog Hop
I hope you can join us on our Design Divas hop today! We will revisit some of our oldies but goodies. I'm sure we all have some of those treasures we will never part with!
I used a retired Stampin' Up set called Close To Nature. I kept it simple, embossing the white cardstock with the Bella Toile background stamp and a Happy Birthday sentiment with some silver hardware. All supplies are SU.
You should have arrived here from Maria's blog.
Your next stop will be to see what Karen has made for you today. Enjoy the hop!

Springtime Smiles
All supplies are Stampin' Up. I combined the sentiment, egg, and flourish from the Easter Blossoms set and the Day Of Gratitude medallion for this clean and simple card for today's Featured Stamper Challenge over at SCS. (For Mary Beth- mbrcutie25)
I really like to find ways to make each set versatile for year round use and both of these seasonal sets would work for that.
My second pic is the clown that we made at our cake decorating class yesterday. Mainly we were working on roses which I think I may need to keep practicing. A lot. Sorry I didn't get the picture of the clown before my guys tore into the cake.

Cakes 101
Finally a hobby of mine my whole family can enjoy! I took my first cake decorating class today where we are learning the very basics. My practice cookie shows the first effort at using the star tip. I don't expect to look like the Cake Boss any time soon, I just want my occasional cake to not look so darn pitiful.

MFP Blog Hop Day 4~ Fish You Were Here
Today's fintastic set is called Fish You Were Here. I made a fishbowl (it opens at the bottom) and colored it in with Copic markers.
The accompanying sentiments are delightful and the fish couldn't be more beautiful and perfectly detailed. Great for coloring!
The second set uses the fish colored in Copics with the added party hat. I inked up some bubble wrap to make the background and stamped the coral fan image onto the orange panel. Nestabilities octagons to frame.

MFP Blog Hop Day 3~ Grandma's Boudoir
Today's beautiful and elegant set is called Grandma's Boudoir. I was inspired by the lovely cameo and went with the more traditional color. The lace and card base are MFP and the paper is by Carol Wilson Fine Arts. Embellished with half pearls.
My second sample uses the vanity with collie image. Stamped in Versafine Black Onyx, colored with Copic markers. I added a flourish stamp from the set to the chair. Nestabilities Fleur de lis frame and Basic Grey Cappella paper which was then run through the Big Shot with the Vintage Wallpaper folder , half pearls to complete.

MFP Blog Hop Day 2~ AFRICAN VELDT
Today's featured set is called African Veldt. I used the MFP glossy cardstock and brayered on the shades of orange and stamped the tree and elephants in black. Stamped elephant on white and colored in Copics, mounted to Nestabilities octagon frames. Card base was embossed with a texture plate and finished with twine and beads.
The second card uses that fabulous giraffe, also colored in Copics. Basic Grey Sugared paper because it had those cute little giraffes on it :)

Happy Faces
I remember my Mom telling me that pansies were little happy faces which is probably why they are my favorite, I always think of her when I see them. I made a flowerpot card, the pansies are attached to the top of the card that slides into the "pot" with a birthday sentiment on it. Happy Pansies set by Mark's Finest Papers.

Lucky Clover
A bit late, but here it is. My March calendar page using House Mouse image O Lucky Day with Adirondacks alcohol inks Lettuce and Meadow with some gold mixative (Tim Holtz) polished stone background and SU buttons.
Cardstocks: Glossy White, Handsome Hunter, and Garden Green.
My sister was always very good at finding four leaf clovers. I don't know how she did it, but once she even managed to find our cousin's lost contact lens on our front lawn. How lucky is that!
