Doubledog Dare Challenge- Humor :)














Our Doubledog Dare Challenge was hosted this week by Anne (jdmommy) and she challenged us to make a humorous card. We'd love it if you played along, we could all use a laugh to get us through a cold winter day. (If you post on SCS please use DDC in your keywords so we can find you.)
I combined this with today's Limited Supply Challenge which was to make a card that is slightly different than how you would normally approach it. I really wanted to do more coloring and shading on the main image, but only colored in the bird. I kept it embellishment free which was really hard for me, and I reached for a set that I haven't used in at least a year. An added bonus is that it is a flat card and will not require extra postage!
I have always loved Snoopy, ever since I was a little kid. I have quite a collection of Snoopy stamps (and other collectibles) because he just makes me happy. Peanuts was an all time favorite comic of mine along with The Family Circus, Calvin & Hobbes, and the Farside Gallery. When I was a little girl I wanted to be Brenda Starr when I grew up.

    This is adorable. I'm the biggest Snoopy fan. This is one of my favorite images of him. It's just too cute with him laughing and holding his chest:)

    I love Snoopy too. Reminds me of growing up when there were few cartoons. Great job Joanne. He looks like he is laughing at Charlie Brown and Linus...

    I love Snoopy as well and I love this card!!!! It makes you so happy just looking at it! and the green, such a cheerful color...perfect with that laughing Snoopy. :)

    Loved your card so much..I popped on over to eBay and bought the stamp!!!
    This is sooo cute..love the green little Woodstock...I love how you left Snoppy b/w, that way the little green WS really stands out.
