I used the new Cute By The Inch set (sneak peek Level 2 hostess set from SU) for the owl on the inside of the card and the tiny bird on branch with the sentiment at the top of the tree. Season of Friendship set for tree and flowers with some pink paper flower accents and pink taffeta ribbon. Circle was cut with a circle cutter. Very Vanilla card base, one layer.
Time saving Tip: I have prepared a huge assortment of A2 card bases so they are ready to grab and go. Stored in a shoebox for my new shelf.
Really cute. Nice way to integrate the two sets together. I may try this with branch out and a squirrel image I have. Thanks for the inspiration!
ReplyDeleteSOOOOO cute Joanne love how you used the owl..how adorable!!!!
ReplyDeleteThe owl in the tree so perfect! CHECK OUT all that paper...WOW
ReplyDeleteThis is a great idea.
ReplyDeleteHow cute is that little owl peeking out from the tree! Super adorable card!
ReplyDeletecute card....are those bases..folded and ready to go???
ReplyDeleteThis card is so precious... I love it.. .so much like YOU... love this cute little owl looking out at me..
ReplyDeleteYour room looks lovely... I guess it is in the air.. I moved my studio all around the other day.. .so that I could fit 10 gals in for classes... I need to have about a 15 foot addition onto the studio, but $$$ don't permit that at this time...
Love the before and after... I forgot and really wouldn't show my before... way to messy... but might take some pictures this week to share... ????
Thanks for all the sharing.
I love this tree, and the owl in the middle is gorgeous, nice use of colour too!
ReplyDeleteI do the same thing with pre-folded cards, it works a treat and is a big time saver!
PS Feel free to come over any time you like!!
Love the flowers on that tree! That is one set I talked myself out of, but see wonderful cards made with it EVERYwhere!
ReplyDeleteI, too, have premade card bases, though not as many as yours. Love how they look all lined up in harmonious organization!
Been thinking about you lately and wondering if you are coming to NJ for the holidays?
