While I Wait Wednesday

I always have some little projects going to keep me busy while I am waiting for my son at his piano lesson. I should probably be walking for exercise during this time but the conditions have to be just right. No rain, heat, not too much sun... Excuses, excuses.
Today I worked on using up some of my old designer paper as I have more on it's way. This is a great project to use those small scraps you can't seem to throw away. I used two different double sided paper designs and cut them in long 12" strips and rolled them up with my quilling tool. You could do this by hand but the tool makes it much easier, quicker, and tighter. Roll them up and drop them in a clear glass ornament ball. I give it a little shake every so often as I fill it. You could do this any time, while watching tv, etc.

I used the summer mini set Tropical Party with Island Oasis designer paer.
All supplies are Stampin' Up.

Vintage Vogue Get Well

Vintage Vogue set stamped in Basic Brown with Blushing Bride flowers edged in riding Hood Red. Blushing Bride, Riding Hood Red, and Espresso cardstocks. Basic Grey designer paper and Hodgepodge Hardware also used with Teeny Tiny Wishes sentiment and Real Red taffeta ribbon.

Perfect Punches

For today's Mojo Monday sketch, I really liked this layout. I used all Stampin' Up supplies of Greenhouse Gala paper, Saffron, Basic Black cardstocks, black satin ribbon, new stick on pearls and perfect Punches stamp set with large oval punch. Cut a wavy line on bottom border of cardstock.

Christmas Cards

The first card is for today's challenge to use polka dots I made a simple card using Delightful Decorations ornaments in Real Red and Not Quite Navy. Branch is Lovely As A Tree in artichoke with gold embossed cord and berries from Berry Christmas. Sentiment from Sincere Salutations.

The second card is today's technique challenge to make a plaid background on a solid silhouette stamp, I also added some kissed flowers to the cardinal. All supplies on this card are Mark's Finest Papers and the set Tweet Blessings comes out in mid-August.

Notably Ornate

All new Stampin' Up supplies used.
Love Letter designer paper with Basic Black and Very Vanilla. New vintage brads, Top Note die, Riding Hood Red ink.

Kimono Kids

I stamped this on mulberry paper so there was a little running of the coloring. Kimono Kids and flower from Itty Bitty Bits, Poppy Parade, Kraft, and mulberry paper by Stampin' Up.
